Santiago's expression hardened.
"Wait."
Everyone stopped.
He turned toward Nicolas.
"Show me the footage of the sedan leaving the beach."
Nicolas immediately pulled up the recording on his phone. The image was grainy, but the dark vehicle could still be identified as it moved along the coastal road.
"That's the one," Nicolas said.
Santiago watched silently as the sedan continued down the road before disappearing around a bend.
"Now show me the camera where the vehicle appears again near the hospital."
Nicolas switched to another recording.
A dark sedan appeared several minutes later, moving through an intersection before turning toward the hospital district.
Santiago watched the footage once.
Then he watched it again.
Thiago stepped closer to the screen.
"What are you seeing?"
"Pause it."
Nicolas froze the image.
Santiago pointed toward the rear of the vehicle.
"Zoom in."
