Thiago was already waiting in the corridor when Santiago emerged from the emergency unit, and the moment he saw his brother's expression, he straightened and moved toward him.
Santiago had always been difficult to read, particularly when circumstances demanded that he remain composed, but Thiago had grown up knowing the subtle differences in his brother's silence.
