Mike had lost all hope he really had. He was standing in a lit shop feeling very restless and uncertain about what was going to happen next. His mind was racing as he walked up to the cashier desk looking for any documents.. All he found were fake ones crumpled up and useless. Then he heard a loud truck coming the sound getting louder and louder as it got closer to the shop.
Mike ran to the window. Looked outside. A truck pulled up. Some men with masks on their faces jumped out holding guns. They were pointing their guns at the shop. It was clear what they wanted to do. Mike started to panic his heart beating fast. He quickly hid behind a desk trying to be safe.
The door to the shop burst open. Bullets started flying everywhere breaking glass and bouncing off the walls. It got very quiet except for the sound of people screaming outside. Then chaos broke out with men and women running from the nearby shops looking very scared. Even a drunk man who was sitting at the bar suddenly became sober. Ran away.
One of the men said "we finish this up". He told another man, John to go into the shop. Mikes mind was racing he was thinking fast. He saw a door at the back of the shop. Ran towards it trying to escape.. When he got to the other side he found himself in a small room with no way out except the way he came in.
John came into the shop holding his gun up ready to shoot. Mikes heart was beating fast he was very scared. But then he did something brave he jumped at John and grabbed the gun taking it away from him. Without thinking Mike pulled the trigger. John fell to the ground.
The men outside heard the gunshot and one of them shouted "is he done?". Another man said "yes". They started talking about what they would do with some money. One of them said he would open a restaurant another said he would buy a supercar for his wife. They were all very excited.
Then their leader started to get suspicious and he walked towards the shop. Mike was still hiding behind the desk listening to what was going on. He heard the sound of police cars coming. Someone shouted "police". The leader told his men not to worry. Mike knew he had to be careful.
The police arrived, holding their guns up and shouting "freeze". The men started shooting. Mike looked out from his hiding place. The scene was very chaotic the men were shooting everywhere. They were not ordinary criminals they were trained fighters and they knew how to use their guns.
One of them shouted "this rat" pointing at Johns body. They started looking for Mike but they could not find him. One of them said "maybe we've been lied to there's no one. Another man said "how come our friend is down?" looking very worried.
Just as they were about to leave one of the men went into the room looking for Mike. He asked for a gun. Another man gave him one. Mike knew he had to act he was holding his gun tightly waiting for the right moment.
The man was trying to turn his gun. Mike was quicker. He pointed his gun at the mans head. Said "everything good?". The man tried to sound calm. Mike could see the fear in his eyes.
The leader sensed something was wrong. He called for the other men. They all moved towards the room, where Mike was hiding. Mike shot the leader. Then he started shooting at the other men. They were all very confused. They started shooting at each other.
Mike hid behind the desk his heart beating fast. He kept shooting trying to be careful. The sound of gunfire was everywhere. The men were screaming. One by one they fell to the ground their excitement turning to panic.
Outside the police were getting ready to go into the shop. Mike knew he had to act he shot the last man who was trying to escape but he got hit in the leg.
