Betrayal or Truth?
The red emergency lights began flashing across the entire data center.
Sirens echoed through the underground facility.
Ariba looked at Lena in shock.
"You were working for him…?"
Lena shook her head quickly.
"No! That's not true!"
But the Architect's calm voice filled the room again.
"Lena, Lena… still pretending?"
Ryan stepped closer to her.
"Tell us the truth."
Lena's hands trembled.
"I swear… I didn't know."
Victor's eyes stayed sharp.
"Or maybe you knew all along."
Suddenly the massive screen behind them lit up.
Old surveillance footage began playing.
It showed Lena entering the Architect's building weeks ago.
Ariba stared at the screen.
"You came here before…"
Lena whispered,
"Yes… but I was spying on him."
The Architect laughed softly.
"Everyone here thinks they are the hero."
Victor raised his gun toward the cameras.
"Enough games. Show yourself."
The Architect replied calmly,
"You're not ready to meet me yet."
Suddenly heavy footsteps echoed outside the sealed doors.
Armed guards were approaching.
Ryan whispered,
"We have to move now."
Lena quickly started typing on a nearby terminal.
"I can open a back exit."
Ariba watched her carefully.
"Can we trust you?"
Lena looked at her with serious eyes.
"You don't have a choice."
The security doors slowly began unlocking.
Victor sighed.
"Alright."
"Let's survive first… and argue later."
But far above them, inside a dark control room, the Architect watched everything with a smile.
"Run as much as you want."
"Soon, the truth will break you all."
