They chose to hide here in the north, mainly because the numerous snowy mountains made it very difficult for the Black Dragon Race to search for them. If there were only a few mountains, the Black Dragon Race might have been ruthless enough to level them one by one to find the Golden Dragon Race's hiding spot.
But now, in these snowy mountains, how could the Black Dragon Race possibly have the power to topple so many mountain ranges? Besides, such a massive commotion would have tipped off the enemy long ago. Everyone would have fled, so what would be the point of searching?
