They went up to the second floor together. The door was wide open.
Kevin Keane and Warren Hayes exchanged a look and walked in together.
As soon as they entered, they heard a pained cry. They both looked over to see one of the targets kicked to the ground by one of their own men, clutching his arm and yelling.
Kevin Keane quickly signaled for his men to stop. They hadn't come here to fight. Besides, now wasn't the time for violence. What they needed was information.
Kevin Keane and Warren Hayes walked over. Kevin looked down at the man on the ground and asked coldly, "Speak. How long have you been working for Bruno Bishop?"
"What are you talking about? Who's Bruno Bishop? I don't know him!" The man's expression flickered at the question. He gritted his teeth and shook his head vehemently, but how could such a clumsy performance ever fool Kevin Keane, who had become an expert judge of character at Damian Xavier's side?
