When she remained silent, Alex Alden grew impatient.
He left a guard behind and casually strolled away.
Aria Sterling's mind began to race.
'But if I wait for Alex Alden to return, my fate will be even worse, won't it?'
Aria Sterling narrowed her eyes, surveying her surroundings.
'This guard is huge. I'm definitely no match for him.'
'What should I do?'
Aria Sterling sighed and leaned her head back against the wall. Suddenly, she felt something odd.
A hairpin on top of her head was digging into her scalp, its presence impossible to ignore.
'That's it!'
Her eyes lit up as she furtively removed the hairpin.
'This hairpin has been my favorite accessory lately. It's made of metal... I never thought it would become my most useful weapon.'
Hiding from the guard's line of sight, she secretly began sharpening the tip of the pin on the floor.
'If I want to get out of here, it has to be a single, fatal blow.'
