Mo Ling had never seen Li Luo sleep so peacefully before.
Usually, Li Luo was a very light sleeper. He would often wake at the slightest sound—the professional vigilance of a Hunter at work.
But now, in this obviously strange hotel, Li Luo was sleeping like a log, which made Mo Ling feel that something was even more wrong.
'It's eerily quiet.'

The strangely structured hotel was completely empty. Mo Ling discovered that Li Luo was the only guest; all the other rooms were vacant, illuminated only by the same dim, white light.
The layout of every room was identical: pure white, with no sharp corners.
After returning to the counter, the hotel owner tidied up for a moment, then walked to the entrance to look at the street before shutting the main door tightly.
