Eric Sutton's words were simply adding fuel to the fire.
Carson Holden had been holding back a bellyful of anger he couldn't unleash on Brooke Morrison, and now it all came rushing toward Eric.
"Of course, in your eyes, your son is the best in the world!" Carson Holden huffed, flinging his arm out as he sat down on the sofa.
Just then, Starlight Entertainment's press conference was starting on TV. Captivated by the screen, Carson couldn't help but grab the remote and turn up the volume.
The reporters had finished asking their questions, and Diana Dunn was now giving her response:
"...Regarding the ice fishing incident in the Barrens, we have conducted a detailed investigation. The events being reported are a far cry from the truth. On behalf of Starlight Entertainment, I must advise everyone here that reports must be truthful. Do not sling mud indiscriminately. There are legal consequences for such actions..."
