The Xuan Level Tributor who stopped Du Youqian was a Golden Core Middle Stage Cultivator. After sizing Du Youqian up, he said coldly, "Our kingdom currently has no intention of accepting foreign Cultivators. You may stay for a short while, but you cannot remain for long. During your visit, you must wear the tracking Spiritual Artifact we issue at all times, or it will be considered a serious offense. Furthermore, you are forbidden from associating with the faction of Master Su Quan, the self-proclaimed Founding Queen. If you discover any trace of these traitors, you must report it immediately. Otherwise, you will be considered an accomplice of that vile woman."
Du Youqian was full of questions, but he knew this wasn't the time for a detailed inquiry. He simply agreed to the conditions, accepted the tracking Spiritual Artifact, and took his leave.
After finding a rental cave abode with a faint Spirit Vein and settling in, Du Youqian began to study the tracking Spiritual Artifact.
