Dan was well aware of the history behind the incident involving the Gelel Stone, for he had witnessed its story in his original world through the first Naruto movie.
In fact, while exploring the planet many years ago, he had discovered the same mineral vein referred to in the film as the Gelel Stone. After examining it, he determined that it was, in reality, an extraordinarily dense concentration of natural energy that had solidified into a vast mineral vein.
Dan did not stop his investigation there. He also deduced the exact reason why such a miraculous accumulation of energy had formed in that specific location. He realized that this very site had once been the place where the first Chakra Tree was planted by the Ōtsutsuki upon their initial arrival on the planet.
Because the process of draining the planet's life force had never been completed, the tree's roots had left behind enormous deposits of concentrated natural energy. Over countless years, those deposits gradually condensed into what eventually became known as the Gelel Stone vein.
Despite the unimaginable value and enormous potential contained within the Gelel Stone, Dan made a firm decision not to exploit it or interfere with it, for several reasons.
First, by the time he discovered the vein, he no longer suffered from any shortage of natural energy whatsoever. He had already begun traveling into outer space, using the Fermentation Seal technique to absorb solar energy directly and convert it into natural energy. As a result, he had absolutely no need to excavate or consume the Gelel Stone hidden beneath the planet's surface, so he simply left it untouched where it lay.
The second reason was his determination to avoid interfering with the future course of history in this world. From what he had seen in the movie, he knew that the Gelel Stone would eventually become the driving force behind the rise of a powerful kingdom.
Once discovered and harnessed, it would trigger an enormous leap in technological and industrial development, allowing that nation to build military and scientific capabilities far beyond those of its era.
However, despite all of his careful intentions to avoid direct interference or major alterations, that did not mean events would always unfold exactly as he had planned. Dan's very existence within this world and his founding of the mighty Blue Dragon Kingdom had already produced significant indirect changes.
The moment he established the Blue Dragon Kingdom as one of the world's dominant powers, the balance of history inevitably began to shift around it.
Whether he intended it or not, he had already influenced the flow of historical events, setting new forces into motion and ultimately pushing the Kingdom of Gelel toward bold and dangerous political and military decisions that would likely never have occurred had the overwhelming prestige and authority of the Blue Dragon Kingdom not existed.
