Claudia POV
"What do you want to do next, Claudia? Do you really want to adopt her?"
That question lingered in my mind, because the answer was obvious. I always believed that you had to separate the child's personality from their parents. It wasn't genetics that affected the child's development, but rather the environment and how the parents shaped their child.
The reason why some children acted similar to their parents was mostly caused by a child mimicking an adult, and it became a habit in the end.
If everything was just genetics, including personality, then Aurora would've been a coward who bullied those weaker than her and cowered against someone stronger.
But Aurora had never shown any of those traits in kindergarten. The reports from the teachers were always good, and she was raised right.
She was a brave little girl, unlike her cowardly father.
So, I believed that Lara would turn out good as long as we watched her growth.
