Jisoo continued walking deeper into the forest, kicking small stones along the path as she went. The excitement from earlier had already faded, and the silence of the Beast World was starting to feel painfully boring again.
Tall trees stretched endlessly around her, their leaves whispering softly in the wind. Every now and then she would hear distant animal sounds, but nothing came close enough to actually see.
She sighed loudly. "System, I swear… if I survive this world, the first thing I'm doing is hugging my phone."
The system did not respond.
Jisoo shoved her hands into her pockets and kept walking. "Honestly, how do people live here? No internet, no music, no snacks… just trees, beasts, and hot dangerous men."
She paused. "…Okay the hot dangerous men part is not the worst thing."
Just as she was about to keep walking, a sudden rustle came from the bushes ahead.
