Chapter 35 - the last game

The city hadn't calmed down yet.

News channels were still flashing updates.

"Arjun Mehra Arrested."

"Aurora vs VK Holdings: Corporate War Escalates."

But for Aarav and Kiara—

This wasn't over.

Not even close.

Back at the mansion—

Kiara stood in the study, going through files.

Her expression sharp again.

Focused.

Because now she knew—

Arjun was just a part of the game.

Not the whole game.

Aarav walked in.

"You should rest."

Kiara didn't look up.

"Can't."

A pause.

"Vikram hasn't made his real move yet."

As if on cue—

The lights flickered.

Then—

Everything went dark.

A second later—

All screens in the room turned on automatically.

One face appeared.

Vikram Khanna.

"Good evening," he said calmly.

Like he wasn't about to destroy everything.

Aarav stepped forward.

"Enough games."

Vikram smiled.

"But we just started."

Kiara's voice turned cold.

"What do you want?"

Vikram leaned back in his chair.

"You already know."

A pause.

"Control."

He tapped something.

And suddenly—

Multiple screens lit up.

Different locations.

Different properties.

Factories.

Warehouses.

Offices.

Kiara's eyes widened slightly.

"Aurora assets…"

Vikram nodded.

"Every single one."

Aarav's jaw tightened.

"You won't touch them."

Vikram laughed softly.

"Too late."

On screen—

Explosions.

Fire alarms.

Chaos.

Kiara stepped forward.

"Stop it!"

Vikram's expression didn't change.

"This is what happens when you challenge me."

Aarav's voice dropped dangerously.

"You're done."

Vikram shook his head.

"No, Aarav."

He leaned closer to the camera.

"You are."

The screens changed again.

This time—

A live location.

Kiara's breath stopped.

"No…"

Aarav's eyes darkened.

Because he recognized it.

Malhotra Industries main headquarters.

Vikram smiled.

"Your turn."

The call ended.

Silence.

Deadly.

Kiara turned to Aarav.

"We have to go."

Aarav didn't move for a second.

Then—

He picked up his gun.

"This ends tonight."

Kiara stepped beside him.

"No."

A pause.

"We end it."

Aarav looked at her.

For a second—

Everything else faded.

Then he nodded.

Together.

Because this time—

They weren't fighting each other.

They weren't running.

They were walking into war.

Side by side.

And Vikram Khanna—

Had just started his last game.
