Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 SIR RAYMOND'S POWER

CHAPTER 65 SIR RAYMOND'S POWER.

Miss Amy sat with legs crossed on the platform as she addressed the students.

The fight between Sylver and Sarah replayed over and over in their minds.

They were all at the Noble stage, but the powers displayed were strong to rival someone at the Knight stage.

Sarah was a two star Noble, but the prowess she showed was similar to a one star Knight.

Sylver had developed her fifth star core, bringing her to the Pinnacle of the Noble stage. And of all the first years, her powers were unmatched.

She was the strongest of the first years.

Roman knew that he had a slight chance in winning if he was locked in a death match with Sylver.

But he wasn't upset or down casted. Infact, he couldn't control the smirk that had formed on his face.

"Her strength is also my strength"

He thought.

"What's up with the smirk"

Lunar asked from the side.

"What's going on in that mysterious mind of yours?"

"Nothing much"

Roman shrugged with a smile.

He focused on what Miss Amy was saying.

".... we'll be having similar match up every day. The more you fight the more experience you gain.

Though the experience will be different from the one on the battle field, it's important you train your body match it."

She paused for a while.

"It's obvious this current generation of Beast Masters is strong, but so many of you have yet to tap into your hidden potentials.

Which is why we'll still be focusing on meditation today. Connect with your spirit beats in your Inner Space. Hopefully some of you will be able to enter today "

Miss Amy nodded for them to go ahead.

Lunar let out a quiet chuckle.

"I guess I'm going to pay on vist to mr. Wolfie. Let's hope he's inviting this time "

He closed his eyes and let his mind slip away.

************

The skies were dark, but illuminated by tiny red stars, spread endlessly across the horizons.

Visible red lightning flash across on occasions, brightening the world with a strange glow.

At one side, a red ringed moon shone, with four other smaller moons hovering in a semi circle around it.

And at the another side, a lone white moon stood, slowly pulsating.

Roman was back in the familiar environment.

It was his Inner Space.

He still marvel at the outer worldly space.

He looked down to see that he was standing on a dark sea of water, which reflected the sky.

He couldn't see beyond the sea, so he bent down and dipped his hand into the water. The water was cool to the touch and he could tell that the water had a bottomless depth, yet he was standing on top without sinking.

Roman stood straight as the soft wind from nowhere washed over him.

Roman turned to face the small island floating on the dark sea.

Roman walked across the sea, leaving subtle ripples in his wake.

He took his time to walk across.

His ringed and star cores cast ethereal glow like moons, while red lightning continued to flash across the sky.

Roman reached the island, the golden sand soft under his feet while the wind blew the translucent red .

He made his way towards the pride rock that stood in the middle of the island like a spire.

He climbed up slowly and soon, he was standing by the mouth of the cave.

Deep within the cave, a massive golden gate stood, glowing and pulsing with a strange energy.

Roman placed his palm on the cold surface of the gate and smiled.

"You really are taking your time aren't you"

Roman said

He sat on the floor and rest his back against the gate.

"I'm stuck,"

He breathed out.

"There are two ways I can get stronger, either you awaken or I absorb beast crystals.

And it's seems like you'll be asleep for a while, so option number two it is then.

But for that I need to sneak out of the city and search for the red zones in the forest.

That's gonna be tasking. But much more easier than sneaking into the Kings castle. Fury isn't back yet, I guess the underground tunnels are more complex than we thought"

Roman let out a breath.

***********

Lunar found himself at a familiar forest with thick tall trees with dark and purple skies.

The environment was illuminated with a ringed moon and four smaller moons around it, while purple lightning flashed across the sky.

Lunar let out a breath as he looked towards a particular direction, a tall mountain which stood at the center of this strange world, his Inner Space.

"Let's try this again"

Before Lunar took the first step, he felt a heavy gaze rest upon him.

"I guess he's awake "

A vibrating growl suddenly reverberated.

Lunar looked at the top of the mountain to see the gigantic purple wolf standing in all it's pride.... and staring daggers at him.

"Alright Wolfie"

Lunar said as he stretched muscles.

"Come get me"

Lightning surge around his body and he charged forward.

***********

Sometime later, Lunar opened his eyes and let out a tired breath.

"Damn..."

"You got kicked out again?"

Roman asked from the side.

Lunar looked at him.

"I'm still trying to know he's problem"

"I'm sure you'll get it soon"

Roman assured.

"What about you?"

Lunar asked.

"Well...mine is still hibernating. But I'll be patient "

Roman smirked.

Lunar nodded.

The class went on smoothly.

Some time later the first years trooped out of the hall in their numbers.

It was time for their lunch break before their next class.... with Sir Raymond.

****************

The skies were dark with the crescent moon casting a low glow upon a fairly large town.

Rivaldale town, in the middle of the night was still bustling with activities here and there.

It was a town for merchants, a Tier two town.

Rivaldale was far from the borders of Avalon Kingdom as it was being sponsored by another.

Multiple knights and guards patroled the night with high quality armors and equipments. It was obvious that Rivaldale wasn't weak by any means but a powerhouse on it's own.

And speaking of powerhouse, a massive manor stood at the far end of the great walls surrounding the town.

Multiple Beast Masters were seen patrolling around the perimeters.

They wore their Clan insignia proudly while their high quality equipment glistering in the moonlight.

The Rival Clan were known for its great accomplishment, and it was the clan in charge of the town, Rivaldale.

But unknown to Rivaldale, a dark cloud loomed.... obviously bored.

"Oh come on, it's already morning, I have a class to teach in few hours from now"

Standing on a long tree branch, Sir Raymond yawned loudly as he observed Rivaldale town from a very far distance in the outskirts forest of the town.

He was clad in full black leather armor with a large coat over his massive build.

His wide yellow hair stood up like a porcupine while his body glowed slightly with his Transcendant grace.

"Why did the King have to send me when others could handle it?"

Sir Raymond glaced at another member of the Night Raid Clan who stood by his side.

"I bet you could handle it yourself"

"Not like you do sir"

The lower clan member replied with head slightly bow.

The wind rustled and another member of the Night Raid appeared and dropped on one knee.

"Vice Leader "

"Yes yes what is it?"

Sir Raymond rolled his eyes.

"I've finished scouting the town"

The Clan member said.

"The Rival Clan is as strong as the report says. Having over seven hundred members of the Knight and Ascension stage"

He paused

Sir Raymond raised a brow

"And..."

"And the leader is a Two star Transcendant "

"Two star huh?"

Sir Raymond rubbed his beard as a strange glint flashed through his eyes.

"I guess this trip might not be a total boredom after all "

He smiled.

"Alright then"

Sir Raymond jumped off the tree and Landed on the dried grass.

"Are we going to wait for back up?"

The other Clan member asked.

Sir Raymond scoffed and sat down on the ground with legs crossed.

"I forgot that you two are new to the Clan. Stand and watch as I educate you on what it means to be in the Night Raid Clan"

A crazy smirk spread across his face as his eyes flashed a bright yellow.

His body burst with yellow aura and the air around them began to shift.

The two clan members jumped back as they stared at Sir Raymond with eyes widen. They were both one star Ascension stage but their knees trembled at the power of the Transcendant before them.

Sir Raymond's yellow aura rose high into the air and a giant Porcupine Spirit Beasts appeared behind him.

Sir Raymond glanced behind and smirked.

"Hello my friend "

A vibrating hum came out from the Porcupine's mouth.

"Yeah yeah I know I don't bring you out more often. But you can't blame me, have you seen your size?

Sir Raymond chuckled.

The size of a Spirit Beast is depended on the amount of spirit energy the Beast Master carry.

And the bigger the Spirit Beast, the more power the Beast Master have.

The Porcupine was as big as a small mountain. It's round back cleared a large part of the forest's trees when it appeared.

It's sharp quills, millions in number stood up like massive oak trees and stretched downwards the tip of its fat long tail .

The beast raised it's head up to at the environment then brought it's head down back to Sir Raymond.

Sir Raymond was a tall man with large muscular build, but the calm and dangerous eyes of the porcupine was larger than his figure.

Sir Raymond leaped and landed on the beast's head. He then sat with legs crossed as he stared at the direction of Rivaldale town.

"The King did said to take care of the town, didn't he?"

He grinned.

The Porcupine's body glowed with yellow energy as the millions of its sharp quills began to tremble. The energy coming off it's body was suffocating.

The two members of the Clan stood on a tree far from the beast, yet they could still feel the pressure.

Multiple runes began to appear all over the quills as the tremble increased.

Then suddenly...

SWITZH!....

SWITZH!.....

SWITZH!....

.....

From tens to hundreds to thousands then millions of the sharp and dangerous quills shot up into the sky with insane velocity.

And as if being remotely controlled, the quills paused in mid flight, then changed it's direction , locking on the only target, Rivaldale town.
