CHAPTER 66 THE POWER OF A TRANSCENDANT
The people of Riverdale Town were minding their business in their peaceful hustle and bustling.
The Town bearly sleeps even in the middle of night. Being run by merchants, the town releases new products and merchandise ever night.
And tonight happened to be a special celebration for the whole town, so the populace were awake; children, men and women and the likes.
"Hey, what's that up in the sky?"
A bystander asked pointing at the sky.
"It looks like a... yellow cloud?"
The sharper Beast Masters looked up in the sky with squinted eyes.
"What...is....?"
Their eyes suddenly widened, but it was already too late.
BOOM!.....
BOOM!...
BOOM!.....
.....
The rain of carnage and destruction was beyond a plague.
A never ending downpour of deadly quills.
The town went into an up roar.
Loud Screams, groans and grunts filled the air as the wave of slaughter unfolded.
Some of the stronger Masters tried defending their selves with their spirit energy and beasts, but against a continuous onslaught, it was beyond impossible.
Houses and tall buildings uprooted from the ground. Even the ground sunken with massive craters.
Fire from unknown source ignited and burned every and anything in it's path.
The famous Rival clan stood no chance at all. Screams of panic and fear erupted from all places as the death toll rises, too much to even count.
The massive and grand manor of the Rival Clan.....was reduced to rubbles in manners of seconds.
The once massive wall surrounding the town was blasted into tiny debris.
And the once lively Rivaldale Town, became desolate in matters of minutes... and the cause of their destruction and elimination was unknown to their grave.

The soft wind howled as it blew across the desolate land that once held the Rivaldale Town. Now reduced to nothing but debris and rubbles with dead bodies littered here and there.
The destruction was unlike anything ever heard.
And no one was alive to tell the tale.
Well..... except for one.
Within the large mass of destruction, a hand suddenly burst out from a pile of rock covered debris.
Slowly the rocks parted a figure gasped as he crawled out of the debris, covered in smoke, dirt and black soot.
The man's high quality beast armor was damaged and dented beyond repairs.
He crawled out of the debris gasping for air and breathing heavily admist cough.
The man slowly looked around, taking in the destruction and carnage before him. His whole life had flashed before his eyes, but strangely he was lucky to have survived.
"Don't think you were lucky to have survived"
The man gasped as he looked ahead , his eyes landed on the person who had spoken.
Admist the carnage and destruction, a lone figure dressed in all black with a large over coat swaying in the wind.
The figure was walking casually with hands in pockets , as if the destruction was completely invisible to him.
Sir Raymond hummed a happy tune as he unbothered steps towards the man.
"Your name is Humphrey right, leader of the now forgotten Rival Clan"
Sir Raymond chuckled.
Humphrey remained seated on the ground, staring at Sir Raymond like a child who was caught in a forbidden act.
"Get up already you look pathetic in that state"
Sir Raymond rolled his eyes.
"Anyway allow me to introduce myself, before you die. I am Raymond of the Night Raid Clan, in Avalon Kingdom"
Sir Raymond introduced as he bowed his head slightly.
Humphrey eyes widened in shock.
Night Raid....
Who wouldn't know the famous Night Raid Clan, specially known for assassinations and overnight raids.
"Based on your reaction I'm sure you've heard of us, good. What ever you did to upset my King, I don't care .
This trip was boring for me. Do you know how Avalon is from here? And I have to teach my precious student in few hours from now."
Sir Raymond scoffed as he looked around the destruction he caused.
"Anyway get up let's fight already. You're two star Transcendant so you should have more fire power than the rest of these... worthless people "
He kicked a nearby disfigured dead body to the side.
Humphrey's eyes widened.
"Ohh, I got blood on my boot"
Sir Raymond groaned.
"This boots are really expensive"
And that was it for Humphrey.
"ARGH.......
His mind went blank and his eyes glowed with pure rage as he screamed into the air.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU....
Blue aura burst from his body as he screamed.
He unleashed the full force of his Transcendant aura which sent a shock wave, blowing away every rocks and debris in his surroundings.
His feet sunk into the ground as a deep crater formed.
Even with all this, Sir Raymond showed no signs of fright.
"Hmm interesting"
He nodded.
"Well come on, come kill me then"
