Chapter 1 - chapter 1

Prehistoric Era – The Stone Age

Long before cities, machines, and written history, the Earth belonged to early humans.

The Stone Age was a brutal world. Endless forests, towering mountains, and dangerous predators surrounded small tribes struggling to survive. Hunger, cold, and violence were part of everyday life.

Historians believe that during this distant era, eight different species of humans walked the Earth. Each had their own strengths and ways of surviving.

Some were powerful hunters.

Some were clever toolmakers.

Others lived quietly in small wandering tribes.

But during this age, a mysterious species appeared—one unlike any other.

They were known as the Demuman.

The Demuman were larger than ordinary humans. The average Demuman stood nearly seven feet tall, their massive bodies built for strength and endurance.

Their most striking feature was their single eye, positioned in the center of their forehead.

Their faces looked partly human, yet something about them felt ancient… almost unnatural. From their mouths grew large curved tusks, and their sharp teeth revealed the nature of a deadly predator.

Their skin was thick and rough, hardened by the harsh prehistoric world.

But their physical appearance was only the beginning.

The Demuman possessed strength far beyond normal humans. A single Demuman could lift enormous stones weighing several tons as if they were nothing.

Their bodies were powerful yet strangely light, allowing them to leap incredible distances and glide through the air by riding strong wind currents.

Birds flying high above the forests were not safe from them.

Their vision was extraordinary. With their single eye, they could see far across valleys and forests. No animal could easily escape their sight.

But perhaps their greatest advantage was their intelligence.

The Demuman mastered fire long before many other human species. They crafted advanced tools from stone and bone—tools that other tribes could barely understand.

Their language was also different. While most early humans communicated with simple sounds and gestures, the Demuman used a complex system of speech.

They hunted in coordinated groups and moved with terrifying speed.

Many human tribes feared them.

Some believed the Demuman were simply another branch of human evolution.

Others believed they were something far older… and far more dangerous.

No one truly knew where the Demuman came from.

To be continued…
