The morning sunlight pierced through the thin curtains, illuminating the quiet little room.
Olivia had been awake for a long time.
She sat on the edge of her bed, staring down at both of her hands. Her mind was still filled with the words Avvion had spoken last night.

She gently clutched the edge of her blanket.
"Why me?"
She was only an ordinary maid. She possessed no power, no wealth, and no status. Yet for some reason, Prince Avvion insisted on taking her everywhere with him.
The more she thought about it, the less she understood the man.
"What does he actually want from me...?" she murmured softly.
Not long after, the sound of a bell echoed from afar, signaling the start of the day in the residence. Outside her room, the hurried footsteps of other maids began to fill every corridor, each of them busy starting their chores.
