But after spending several hours choosing, he finally settled on a few familiar weapons.
The first was the blaster rifle from Star Wars.
Its firepower could be adjusted freely. At the lowest setting, it could be used like a taser. At maximum output, one shot could kill a person outright.
And most importantly, the technology was highly adaptable.
As long as he unlocked the blaster rifle technology, Killian was certain that in as little as a year, or at most three, he could scale it up for tanks and spacecraft.
Because throughout Star Wars, nearly all blaster models used the same basic principles: power supplied by energy cells and compressed energy loaded into the magazine.
That meant its practical value would be enormous.
The specific model Killian chose was the F-11D automatic blaster rifle.
The reason he selected it was because of its variable-zoom scope with integrated electronic support systems and its expandable modification interface, both of which could be used to increase power and range.
The next choice was the Firefly bombs from G.I. Joe 2.
These bombs were not only easy to carry and available in large numbers, but could also remain extremely well hidden before detonation.
Each bomb also contained a chip, making possible not only the basic functions of delay and timed detonation, but also reverse-triggered explosion logic. In other words, if the bomb stopped receiving a signal, it would automatically detonate.
That allowed for long-range detonation without direct contact.
The film even specifically showed one of the Fireflies dimming for a moment, meaning the signal had been interrupted, causing it to explode on the spot.
And regardless of which detonation method was used, the Firefly bomb's power and application range were both extremely impressive.
So Killian chose it as well.
After that, with a rifle and explosives already selected, Killian shifted his focus mainly to sidearms.
But wanting something compact and easy to carry without sacrificing power made the search far more difficult than he expected.
In the end, after spending a long time on it, he finally found the two technological weapons that interested him most.
