Aria Becomes a Dragon Rider
The sky above the Dragon Kingdom was now dark and stormy.
Shadow dragons circled in the distance like black birds of war.
Aria stood beside Lumi and the great Dragon King Aurelion, her heart beating fast.
"I don't understand," Aria said quietly.
"How can I be the chosen Dragon Rider?"
Aurelion lowered his massive head and looked at her with wise golden eyes.
"Long ago," he said, "the Dragon Kingdom had a protector."
"A human who could understand dragons… and share their magic."
"That warrior was called The Dragon Rider."
Aria listened carefully.
"But after the great war with the Dark King," Aurelion continued,
"the Dragon Rider disappeared."
"For centuries we waited for another one to appear."
Lumi looked at Aria and smiled gently.
"And now… you have awakened the ancient magic."
Just then, the ground shook again.
Another loud roar echoed across the sky.
ROOOOOAR!
More shadow dragons were approaching the floating islands.
The Dragon King spread his enormous wings.
"There is no more time," he said.
He turned toward the mountains and let out a powerful roar.
Moments later, something incredible appeared from the clouds.
A magnificent silver dragon flew down and landed in front of Aria.
Its scales sparkled like moonlight, and its eyes were bright and intelligent.
Aria stared at the dragon in amazement.
"This dragon…" she whispered.
Aurelion nodded.
"This is Lunaris."
"The fastest and most loyal dragon in our kingdom."
The silver dragon slowly lowered its head toward Aria.
For a moment, everything became silent.
Then Lunaris spoke softly in Aria's mind.
"Hello, Aria."
Aria gasped.
"You… you can speak to me!"
Lunaris's voice was calm and gentle.
"Only the Dragon Rider can hear a dragon's true voice."
Aurelion watched them carefully.
"It is time," he said.
"Aria, place your hand on Lunaris."
Aria slowly stepped forward.
Her hands were shaking, but she gathered her courage.
She placed her hand on the dragon's shining scales.
Suddenly—
A bright silver and golden light exploded around them.
Wind rushed through the air.
Aria felt a powerful energy flowing through her body.
Lumi gasped in amazement.
"The bond… it's forming!"
When the light finally faded, a glowing symbol appeared on Aria's hand.
The symbol of a dragon wing.
The Dragon King smiled proudly.
"It is done."
"From this moment on…"
He raised his voice across the kingdom.
"Aria is the new Dragon Rider!"
The dragons in the sky roared loudly.
But far away in the dark storm clouds…
The Dark King watched everything.
And he smiled.
"Good," he whispered.
"The Dragon Rider has finally appeared."
His red eyes burned with dark power.
"Now the real game begins."
