The First Dragon Battle
The wind roared across the sky of the Dragon Kingdom.
Dark clouds covered the floating islands, and the air was filled with the distant cries of dragons.
Aria stood beside her dragon Lunaris, still staring at the glowing dragon-wing symbol on her hand.
"I'm really… a Dragon Rider now?" she whispered.
Lunaris gently spread its shining silver wings.
"Yes, Aria," the dragon's voice echoed softly in her mind.
"And the kingdom needs you."
Before Aria could say anything—
A loud roar shook the sky.
ROOOOOOOAR!
Shadow dragons burst out of the black clouds like living nightmares.
Their wings were dark as night, and their eyes burned with red fire.
Lumi gasped.
"The Dark King's army has arrived!"
The Dragon King Aurelion lifted his massive golden head.
"Dragons of the kingdom!" he roared.
"Prepare for battle!"
Hundreds of dragons flew into the stormy sky.
Red dragons breathed flames.
Blue dragons shot streams of icy wind.
Golden dragons shined like the sun.
The sky turned into a battlefield of fire and lightning.
Aria looked terrified.
"There are so many of them…"
Lunaris lowered its body beside her.
"Climb on my back," the silver dragon said.
Aria hesitated for a moment.
Then she gathered her courage and climbed onto Lunaris.
The moment she held onto the dragon's shining scales—

Lunaris launched into the air.
The wind rushed past Aria as they flew between clouds and dragons.
"This is amazing!" Aria shouted.
But suddenly—
A huge Shadow Dragon rushed toward them.
Its mouth opened wide, filled with dark flames.
Aria gasped.
"Lunaris!"
"Hold tight!"
Lunaris twisted through the air and dodged the attack.
Dark fire exploded behind them.
Aria's heart was racing.
"I can't do this!"
Lunaris's voice became calm and strong.
"Yes, you can."
"Feel the magic inside you."
Aria closed her eyes for a moment.
She focused on the strange power glowing in her hand.
Suddenly—
The dragon-wing symbol began to shine.
A bright silver light spread from her hand.
The power flowed through Lunaris.
The silver dragon roared and released a powerful beam of glowing energy.

The Shadow Dragon was thrown back into the storm clouds.
Aria stared at her glowing hand in shock.
"I… I did that?"
Lunaris laughed softly.
"That was your first Dragon Rider magic."
Below them, the battle continued across the sky.
But far away in the darkness…
A tall shadow watched the fight from the top of a black mountain.
The Dark King.
His red eyes glowed with cruel excitement.
"So the Dragon Rider has awakened her power…"
He smiled slowly.
"Good."
He raised his hand, and the storm clouds grew darker.
"Soon… the entire Dragon Kingdom will fall."
And the greatest battle had only just begun.
