Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Found the beginning towards truth

If it was the girl dressed in white was still alive, this must be an illusion, I pondered. So, I touched her hand hoping it would turn ghosted, but it felt human. The light shone against her torn flesh. The gloomy weather was soon lined with dark, rain bearing clouds. A drop of rain landed by my feet. Water dripped from slowly to heavily. The drops soaked Shiro's shirt. A wound appeared - a wound that can never be healed. I looked at her worried, she was alive, yet she's still getting severely injured. The rain poured, piercing through her flesh. Shiro winced in agony. I took my coat off giving her a warm, protective, and shaded wear. The feel of getting seriously lost vanished, and the only wonder was… her.

A woman who looked paranoid and empty, faced backward from us. "I'll give you a hand Shiro, get on my back", I whispered. As I carried Shiro and walked towards the woman, her neck tilted halfway, with her torso staying still. My entire body froze, I was feeling light, so why was that? I turned around cautiously, and Shiro was gone, disappeared without a trace. I had no time to panic for where Shiro went, but this woman was crazy, controlled, and creepy. I turned around again, and that woman was standing on my foot. Feeling cautious, I backed away slowly and cautiously, but she started walked towards me. I shoved her harshly, I took off, sprinting to get away from that crazy, old woman. As I ran, tears rolled down my face. "Why should I live? I don't deserve it… my parents, what's occurring now, everything just doesn't go the way I want it to go." I stopped and didn't even bother turning around. As I wiped my tears away, Shiro was standing beside me, having a clean white shirt, fingertips washed, and giving me hand to run away. I shook my head, gesturing I would stay here and get eaten away. But she insisted. Shiro softly spoke, "Take my hand, I promise I'll never leave your side again". Then Shiro gave me the first, warmest smile I had ever got. I hesitated, held her hand, and sprinted off fast, feeling the wind gush against my fringe. She held my hand tight proving she was there and by the time we were out of breath. I turned around and saw the old woman next to me. "SHIRO, YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME, REMEMBER". A gentle voice brushed against my ear, "I wouldn't have left you, if your dad hadn't cursed my lamb". The voice sounded like Shiro. As I turned around, the woman was gone… out of sight. I yelled, releasing out my anger as the birds chirped and flew away. And that's when I felt the need to end myself…

"You don't deserve to live, live as ghost with me, and together we'll portray your father." I stood still, that thought wasn't created by me… Shiro must be near, should she?
