It has taken a while for the hunters to arrive at Nirvana before nightfall. Wincent followed them into the outpost with Peet having already departed with his Seikret. He needed to talk with the chef hunter.
After walking between the different buildings they arrived at the biggest one that served as the command centre. Walking inside the other hunters went to find a nother hunter to talk to and to make a plan for finding the Deviljo and killing it, and of course tell the chief hunter about it as well.
Wincent being left alone and realising that he could be in a little trouble if the outpost chief hunter is like his teacher. Bracing him self he walked upstairs to where he could find him. Luckily the layout of the building isn't complicated.
After a little bit he reached the top where he knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Opening the door he saw that the room was really spacious with a big round table in the middle with chairs.
"What can I do for you hunter? That being said I don't remember seeing you around here. Are you a new hunter?"
"Hello my name is Wincent. I believe that my teacher Robert has sent you a letter of me arriving."
"Oh yes I do remember but according to the letter you weren't going to arrive till thee days later."
Hearing that Wincent explained why he arrived so early. Making the chief hunter sit down on a chair rubbing his face. It was clear that he made him regret his life choices a little bit.
"Well, knowing that what Robert has writen in the later is kind of true. My name is Calvin. You can call me that, there is no need to call me chief hunter or anything like that."
"Of course."
"It's almost night time how about you and your Pelico go and rest and I will introduce you to the others tomorrow?"
After saying that Calvin lead Wincent down to the first floor when they run into the hunters who Wincent came back with.
They told Calvin about their plan about hunting down the Deviljo and sending out a few other hunters to the place where the fight happened to find out the identity of the third monster.
Calvin approved of it immediately. He trusts them enough to know that they can accomplish it whiteout getting hurt badly.
After Calvin lead Wincent to his residence that hase been prepared for him he went back to the command centre and with a weary sigh he sit down. Because now he needed to rethink of who should be the best hunters that can hunt together with Wincent.
Since at first when the letter arrived he didn't really took it seriously. Because hes friend sometimes does joke around.
After a bit of thinking he remembered that there's a three person hunter party that will do the job perfectly but the question is will they be okay with it?
Without really thinking to much about it he wrote them a letter to come see him tomorrow. And he sent out a second one for a hunter handler as well.
After finishing everything else up he also went back to his residence to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day for them.
At Wincents new residents he was still exploring it with Peet. The moon was halfway across the sky when he decided to finally get some rest. Tomorrow he is going to be introduced to a few people and he needed all the rest he could get.
With that the night passed without incident.
And in the morning while walking to the command centre he hear the others hunters talk about how the hunter party have killed the Deviljo.
After arriving he saw that there's three hunters and a handler in the room waiting. The first to introduce themselves to him was the handler. She was a short haired woman holding a note book which she was writing into earlier her name is Mary. The first thing Wincent noted of her is that she is really energetic.
After he introduced him self as well the others in the room did the same.
Dorothy, Frank, and Jack. They are in a hunting party together.
Dorothy hase a fulgur Anjanath armour set with a switch axe.
Frank Coral Pukei armour set with a heavy bowgun.
Jack Aknosom armour set with with dual blades.
Two of them having been hunters for a few years now with a lot of experience, but Jack is the youngest of them only going out hunting with the others and not alone.
"It's nice to meet you all I would introduce my Palico but he insisted on looking around at the outpost. Hes names Peet."
"It's okay we can meet him later." Frank reassured him that it's not a problem.
Since all of them arrived ahead of time they decided to share stories of hunts they had while out.
The three of them had a lot to share because apparently they were the trouble makers of this forest. But not in a way that would be really apparent they just have bad luck with the monsters because one way or a nother a monster would start chasing one of them.
While recounting these chases the handler would tell Wincent and Jack the most known characteristics of these monsters.
They got so into these stores they haven't realised that Calvin hase arrived listening to these stories as well.
After coughing to get their attention, Calvin told them why he called them here.
"I would like to get you all to go on hunts to gether for now to build more experience. Well that was my intention but for the looks of it you'll already getting along with eachother."
"Of course we do. You don't need to worry about it."
Dorothy said to Calvin. There's really not much to worry about because before he arrived they already decided that after Wincent got a good look around the outpost they will go out into the forest to have a look at things. And hopefully they won't be chased by a big monster, even though that's highly likely to happen considering their track record so far.
While they were leaving to take Wincent out for a look around the outpost they heard Calvin telling Frank that he didn't wanted to get a nother report about them getting chased around for at least a few days.
Even he knows that asking them to not get chased at all was a bit much to ask.
And with that they begun their tour at the forge.
