"Just a few more kills and I can trigger the first White Moon Cat's evolution," he murmured.
Turning his gaze toward the carcasses, he called out to Yui Yuigahama and Ai Hayasaka. "Yui! Little Secretary! Come over here for a second!"
He wasn't just giving them nicknames for fun; those were actually their in-game aliases. The two girls shared a quick glance before hurrying to his side.
"Break down these corpses for materials. I'll give you a ten-percent cut of whatever we harvest today."
Materials from these beasts required players to manually dismantle the remains. By letting them handle the labor and offering a ten-percent share, Seito was ensuring they were fairly compensated. After all, in the lethal environment of the 40th Floor, Seito was not only guaranteeing their safety but also providing the kills. A ten-percent cut of his haul was enough to make them both incredibly wealthy.
Without hesitation, they drew their tools and set to work. Just then, a notification from Kaguya Shinomiya popped up, urging them to check the guild channel.

Ai and Yui shared a knowing smile and returned to their task. A while later, Seito stored the materials they handed over into his Kamui Dimension. They were high-quality, though he noted the absence of Orange-tier or Spatial-type materials.
No matter. Seito looked toward the horizon and led the two girls deeper into the forest to continue the slaughter.
One hour later, the trio made their way back toward the Safe Zone cavern. In that single hour, they had decimated a staggering number of beasts: one Level 100 Boss, four above Level 80, and twenty-six below Level 80.

"Eat up, everyone."
The White Moon Cat tribe was currently pathetic in terms of strength. While other beast tribes numbered in the millions or hundreds of millions, they had barely ten thousand members. Seito surmised they had survived by scavenging the leftovers of larger predators, which explained their dwindling numbers.
Seeing the fresh feast, the kittens' eyes lit up as they swarmed the meat. Yui and Ai couldn't resist the cuteness and knelt down to pet the fluffy felines as they ate.
Seito, meanwhile, was evaluating the tribe's potential. He had enough points for two evolutions and wanted to give them to the strongest individuals. However, after scanning the group, he realized just how weak they were.
The highest-leveled cats were only Level 20 and Level 21.
"I guess I'll have to be the one to carry the whole tribe," Seito sighed. He selected the two highest-leveled cats and activated the Evolution Template.

Suddenly, the two kittens were enveloped in a blinding white radiance. The surrounding cats stopped eating, watching their companions with wide, curious eyes as the transformation began.
