Yui Yuigahama's face turned bright red. She had just stepped out to use the restroom, and in her half-asleep state, she had subconsciously returned to her own room, completely forgetting that Seito was sleeping there.
"Alright, go back to sleep."
Seito decided to let it slide. Yui was already mortified; if he pushed the issue, she'd only get more flustered, which would be counterproductive. He closed his eyes and drifted back off. Beside him, the "Dumpling" lay there with a flushed face, watching his sleeping profile, secretly feeling that things weren't so bad after all. With her head full of whimsical thoughts, she eventually drifted off to sleep as well.

The Yuigahama residence.
In the living room, Mrs. Yuigahama was preparing breakfast.

Hearing footsteps, she turned to see Yui walking toward her, looking distinctly embarrassed. As the memories of the night flooded back, Mrs. Yuigahama flashed a knowing, suggestive smile, which only served to make Yui even more self-conscious.
"Yui, what's Seito-kun doing?" the mother asked.
"He... he's not awake yet," Yui replied in a tiny voice.
Though the volume was low, Mrs.
Yuigahama heard every word.
"Did he not get a good night's rest?" She looked Yui up and down, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "That's strange, isn't it?"
"..."
Yui's face turned tomato-red. She knew exactly what her mother was implying, and hearing it spelled out so blatantly was agonizing!
"Never mind, go sit down. I'll finish breakfast." Mrs. Yuigahama went back to her cooking. Yui scurried to the dining table.
Twenty minutes later, the meal was ready, and Seito emerged from the room, stretching his arms.
"You're finally up. Come eat," Mrs. Yuigahama said with a smile.
"Mm." Seito glanced at the youtiao (fried dough sticks) and porridge on the table, then at the spotless kitchen. "Mrs.
Yuigahama, your cooking is top-notch." He took a seat.
"Seito-kun, are you not going to wash up?" she asked.
"No need. Even without washing up, I'm still drop-dead gorgeous!" Seito puffed out his chest confidently.
"Indeed, you are quite handsome~" Mrs. Yuigahama glanced at Yui with a wink, causing the girl to bury her face in her bowl.
The meal was finished quickly. Seito offered to help with the dishes, but afterward, he didn't intend to overstay his welcome.
"Mrs. Yuigahama, I'll be heading out now."
"So soon? Why don't you stay for a few more days?" She had grown quite fond of him; if he ended up marrying her daughter, she'd already decided she'd consider moving in with them.
"I can't. I've got work to do," Seito replied with a shake of his head.
"I see." She didn't press the issue.
Seito turned to Yui. "Yui-chan, don't worry about seeing me out. Bye~"
"Bye~" Yui waved, abandoning her plan to walk him to the door. Seito opened the front door and stepped out. Checking that the hallway was clear, he activated Spatial Shift and vanished!
Shizuka Hiratsuka's apartment.
Shizuka was lying on her bed, about to log into the game, when a figure suddenly appeared in front of her.
"Seito? What are you doing here?" She blinked in surprise. Why was he visiting her in the middle of the day? It felt a bit inappropriate for a student-teacher rendezvous, but she wasn't about to complain.
"Hehe, I'm here to ask for a leave of absence." Seito grinned.
"Leave?"
"Yeah." Seito nodded, explaining, "You know that the 'First God' has omniscient powers and can lead a whole pantheon. I'm planning on going all-out, grinding the Boss Labyrinths to max out my Divine Power!"
Labyrinth Bosses were tough, but not impossible. He intended to farm Divine Power until he ascended to true godhood.
"Is that so..." Shizuka pondered for a moment before nodding. "Permission granted."
"In that case, let's have a quick duel before I go!"
"???" Shizuka was stunned. "A duel? First thing in the morning?"
"Come on, just a quick one~"
"A-alright, fine..."
12:00 PM.
After lunch at Shizuka's place, Seito teleported back to his room, donned his gaming helmet, and logged into God Domain.
52nd Floor.
He spawned in the forest cabin and immediately pinged the Harbinger chat.

[Sei: @All. I'm going into seclusion to grind the Boss Labyrinths for a while.]
[Sora: Farming Divine Power to ascend to godhood?]
[Sei: Exactly!]

Seito closed the chat. There were still mini-bosses on the 52nd and 53rd floors he hadn't cleared, and they were worth a hefty amount of Divine Power. Based on the 51st floor's standards, mini-bosses were worth 30,000–40,000, and main Labyrinth Bosses netted 50,000–60,000. With his current 190,000, he figured by the time he cleared the 56th floor, he'd have enough to condense his Godhead and ascend!
He opened his map, input the coordinates for the 53rd-floor Labyrinth, and teleported. Pushing through the massive, hundred-meter-tall gates, he stepped inside.
"I wonder what kind of Godhead this Boss will drop?" he muttered to himself, a thrill of anticipation surging in his chest as he pushed the doors open.
