Chapter 379: The Supporter Lili? Seito's Plan?

....

The moment a potential Familia member was mentioned, Hestia perked up instantly.

Right now, she didn't have a single person in her Familia. She figured that any adventurer Seito recommended to her wouldn't be a letdown.

"Don't worry, let me give you a breakdown of her situation first," Seito said with a gentle smile. "She belongs to the Prum race, and her current affiliation is with the Soma

Familia. Her role is that of a Supporter."

Supporters were a recognized role among adventurers, though they weren't built for frontline combat. Instead, their job was to collect the magic stones dropped by monsters after adventurers defeated them.

That's right! The person Seito was talking about was none other than Lili, the Prum supporter!

This little Prum was constantly bullied and tormented by the stronger members of the Soma Familia. Because of that, Seito planned to step in early and move her over to the Hestia Familia.

"Is that really okay?" Hestia asked, looking a bit hesitant when she heard Lili belonged to the Soma Familia. She didn't want to needlessly offend another god over a regular Supporter.

"There's nothing wrong with it," Seito waved his hand flippantly before thoroughly explaining Lili's miserable living conditions inside the Soma Familia to Hestia.

"That god is incredibly irresponsible," Kirukiru Amou muttered, her shapely brows knitting into a slight frown. The Western Mythos Faction really was completely disorganized, housing all kinds of bizarre, careless deities.

"This is terrible! How can Lord Soma just stand by and watch his own children get bullied like that? He doesn't deserve to be called a god!" Maple gritted her teeth in pure anger.

Hearing the full story, Hestia also felt that Soma had gone way too far. If a girl was being tormented even by members of her own Familia, one could only imagine how tragic Lili's daily life must be.

"I agree to take her in," Hestia nodded, but then asked with a puzzled look, "But how should I bring this up to Soma? I don't really know how to approach him."

After all, the God of Wine was known for having a lot of eccentric quirks.

"Leave that matter entirely to me," Seito offered a knowing smile. Hearing his promise, Hestia didn't press for any more details. Since Seito was actively helping her build her Familia, she trusted his lead.

In reality, Seito's motives were incredibly straightforward.

First of all, he knew exactly how much potential this cute, short l*li goddess possessed. More importantly, he planned to completely intercept Bell Cranel before he could join Hestia, and hand the boy over to Kitahara Iori and Hidenori Tabata for some serious "training."

After all, being a traditional, standard hero wasn't nearly as fun as becoming a chaotic troll. Plus, his guild could help Bell boost his levels at an astronomical speed. Wouldn't that be infinitely more satisfying for the kid?

"Why don't you just stay here tonight?" Seito said to Hestia.

"Sure," Hestia didn't refuse the offer.

Time flew by, and night quickly arrived.

Tonight, the streets of Orario were filled with a great deal of cheerful laughter. The reason was hilariously simple: Apollo, the leader of a prominent mid-tier Familia, had been completely wrecked by a group of mortals in broad daylight.

While ordinary mortals didn't dare to openly mock a deity, the local gods certainly did! Recalling the spectacular beatdown that occurred at noon, the deities couldn't help but burst into fits of giggles.

Back at the headquarters of Seito's Familia.

Inside the main house, because Hestia was staying over for the night, Kirukiru Amou naturally gave up her bedroom to accommodate their guest. As for where she would sleep? That was a given—she smoothly joined Seito and headed straight into Maple's room!

Meanwhile, in the Central Region of the God-King Star Sector...

"Far too many deities have been executed lately! I plan to order my faction members to enter absolute seclusion and refrain from stepping outside for a while."

"My thoughts exactly."

"Curse it all! If I ever discover which God-King is behind this stealth slaughter, I will rip him to shreds!"

"Sigh, we can't even track his spatial footprints. There's simply no way to find him."

Countless God-Kings traded urgent mental transmissions across the upper floors. Because Seito's six mirror clones were currently running an unrestricted, lethal farming script across the region, the death rate among the local gods had reached an all-time high! The sheer efficiency of the harvest left the remaining God-Kings trembling in fear.

Right now, these ancient rulers had unanimously decided to order a global lockdown, forcing their subordinates to stay inside until the mysterious killer cleared out of the sector.

Time flew like an arrow, and in the blink of an eye, the next morning arrived.

The DanMachi world, Western Region — Orario.

Right outside the main entrance to the Dungeon, a young Prum girl stood quietly, waiting to see if any adventurers needed to hire a Supporter. Her features were delicate and incredibly pretty, but the heavy, dull look in her eyes clearly showed that she was in a terrible mood.

This girl was none other than Lili from the Soma Familia.

"A massive chunk of yesterday's earnings was stolen by the seniors again," Lili murmured to herself, her expression filled with complex emotions.

She needed to gather a staggering sum of ten million gold coins to officially purchase her freedom from the Soma Familia. For a small Supporter like her, the difficulty of this goal was monumental. But as a skilled thief, she refused to lose heart. She had plenty of time to slowly map out her escape plan!

"Look over there, it's the members of Seito's Familia."

"Are they actually here to challenge the Dungeon?"

"My goodness, as Level 10 adventurers, do you think they'll dive straight down to the 90th floor?"

"Heh, I wonder if they lack a Supporter. Should we step up and ask if they want to take anyone along?"

"Forget it, they are officially the number one Familia in Orario right now. Why would they ever need someone like you?"

The excited murmurs of the surrounding pedestrians quickly caught Lili's attention. She blinked in surprise and slowly raised her head.

Tap, tap, tap, tap~~

A steady set of heavy footsteps approached as ten adventurers dressed in identical black business suits walked into the plaza, their faces filled with wild, unruly expressions. Under the watchful eyes of the entire crowd, the group marched straight up to Lili and stopped.

The sudden move left both Lili and the spectators completely stunned.

"Are you a Supporter?" Kitahara Iori asked proudly, looking down at her.

"Yes, dear adventurer," Lili replied. She didn't understand what these powerhouses wanted from her, but she nodded dutifully.

"Excellent. Tag along with us," Hidenori Tabata gestured for her to follow, before casting a deeply arrogant, sweeping glare at the surrounding crowd. "What a bunch of absolute trash!"

The spectators: "..."

Everyone on the street felt their blood boil with pure anger at Hidenori's comment. Yes! They were trash compared to him! But did a group of Level 10 monsters really have to look down on everyone so blatantly?!

Countless adventurers cursed Kitahara Iori and the others furiously in their heads, but on the surface, not a single soul dared to utter a word. After all, no matter how insulted they felt, a Level 10 powerhouse was an absolute existence they could never hope to match.

"Ah, yes!"

Lili froze for a second, but quickly snapped out of it and agreed.

At the same time, a clever little thought formed in her mind. These people were absurdly strong; if they actually followed the standard profit-sharing agreement between adventurers and Supporters, she might be able to earn her ten million gold coins in a single day!

With that hopeful thought, a bright smile broke across Lili's face. Kitahara Iori and the boys didn't waste any more breath, leading their new Supporter straight into the mouth of the massive labyrinth.
