Chapter 391: Returning to Earth Again, Honjou Kaede's Request?
....
She never expected Sally to ask the exact same question.
They really were on the same wavelength.
After a bit more casual chatting, everyone returned to their own rooms to sleep.
Tomorrow, they would all head back to Earth to start preparing things for the New Year.
The night passed without a word.
The next morning.
In the front yard of Seito's Familia estate.
Seito looked over the group that had gathered in front of him, his gaze finally resting on Bell.
"Bell, I won't be able to update your status data for the next few days."
"It's totally fine, Lord Seito," Bell said with a bright smile.
He didn't mind Seito leaving at all. After spending so many days here, he could tell that every single member of his Familia was a good person. Even though everyone could be a bit wild and unhinged at times, they treated him—the newest member—very well.
And more importantly...
Bell had heard that the members of his Familia were incredibly close. They never went out looking for trouble, but they weren't afraid of it either. The moment anyone tried to mess with their Familia, everyone would stand together as one to fight back.
When he first heard about Lili's tragic experiences in the Soma Familia, his impression of certain divine factions had turned pretty bad. But it was clear that his own Familia was truly wonderful.
Seito smiled warmly and nodded. Then, he activated his skill, safely drawing both Hestia and Lili into his Kamui spatial dimension.
After casting a final glance over the crowd, everyone teleported out of the world together.
Seeing them vanish, Bell turned and walked away.
I have to push myself to grow as much as possible before Lord Seito and the others get back! Bell thought determinedly.
He fully intended to use this block of time to sharpen his combat instincts and raise his level.
The God Domain — The Divine Territory.
Earth, Eastern Country, Sakura Province, Chiba City.
Inside Seito's apartment.
Currently, Kanade Tachibana was lounging on the couch, chatting with Kaguya and the other girls.
"So... you two are officially his women now?" Asuna Yuuki asked, her small face flushing slightly.
Reviewing the signs from earlier, she didn't even need to guess to know that Kaguya and Hayasaka had completely solidified their relationships with Seito last night!
"Yes," Kaguya nodded, her expression perfectly calm.
Now that their status was officially locked in, she naturally wasn't going to act as incredibly shy as before. She viewed the matter very naturally now.
Hayasaka didn't say much either, merely maintaining her usual deadpan, lazy gaze. Ever since she and Kaguya had collectively accepted Seito, she had formally stopped serving as Kaguya's personal maid.
The reason was simple: Kaguya now viewed Hayasaka as an absolute equal, so she insisted that Hayasaka should stop serving her. She wanted her to have her own independence!
Seeing the girl she had raised and protected since childhood grow up so much, a very satisfied, warm smile broke across Hayasaka's face. To be honest, she used to find things quite bothersome at times, since Kaguya would run to her over every tiny little matter. But she had always treated Kaguya like a spoiled little sister, which was why she had cared for her with absolute devotion.
Receiving their confirmation left Asuna and Chika Fujiwara feeling a bit down. The two of them had yet to make any real, solid progress with Seito. It wasn't that they lacked the nerve; the main problem was that they were far too shy and couldn't bring themselves to make the first move.
Zip, zip, zip~~
With three bright flashes of light, a youth and two girls suddenly materialized right in the middle of the living room. The sudden movement immediately drew the attention of Kanade and the others.
Standing there were Seito, Maple, and Kirukiru Amou.
"Finally back home," Seito let out a long stretch. He had dropped Kitahara Iori and the boys off at their respective homes first, which was why only the three of them stepped through the door.
"Seito-kun~ you're back~"
Seeing his silhouette, Kanade instantly stood up and glided over to stand right in front of him.
"Mhm," Seito smiled, reaching out to gently pat her head. "Kanade, were you a good girl while I was away?"
"Very good~" Kanade replied, a soft, rare smile breaking across her face.
Beside them, Maple was curiously studying the interior of Seito's home. This was her very first time stepping inside his apartment, and seeing so many girls living under his roof left her completely stunned.
"Seito-kun, you have this many people living at your place?" Maple couldn't help but ask out loud.
She never anticipated that so many girls were staying with Seito. She had originally thought only Kirukiru Amou and Kanade lived here. Who knew... even Kaguya and her friends had moved in.
This realization filled Maple with pure envy. Although she had already solidified her relationship with Seito, she couldn't just pack her bags and move into his apartment. After all, her parents hadn't even met Seito yet; moving in with a guy right now was completely out of the question!
"Honjou-san?" Kaguya cast a polite look toward Kaede.
"Ah, yes," Kaede nodded, asking curiously, "When did everyone start living here together?"
"It's been a while now," Asuna answered smoothly.
Hearing this, Kaede simply couldn't hold back anymore. She turned her head toward Seito, a lovely blush spreading across both of her cheeks. "Seito-kun, can you drop by my house tomorrow morning?"
"Sure," Seito agreed right away.
He understood exactly what she meant. She was inviting him over to formally meet her parents. Come to think of it, it really was about time he paid a proper visit to her folks.
"Hehe~" Kaede's lips curved into a very bright, happy smile. "I'll take my leave first then."
"Mhm, see you tomorrow."
Zip~!
Watching Kaede teleport out of the living room, Seito guided Kirukiru Amou and Kanade over to the couch, sitting down comfortably alongside the group.
"Are there going to be a lot of people coming over to our building for the New Year?" Seito turned to ask Kaguya.
"Quite a lot," Kaguya replied smoothly. "Not only is our entire class joining, but a ton of students from Classes A, B, C, and E are dropping by as well!"
"That many?" Seito blinked in surprise. He hadn't expected such a massive turnout. But a large crowd meant a loud, lively party, which was a fantastic thing.
"Oh right, some of the students are bringing their family members along too," Kaguya added, remembering a specific detail.
"Family members?" Seito paused, asking, "Do you mean their parents or elders?"
It made sense. With so many students joining, they couldn't all be living alone, so having family members tag along was completely normal.
"No, not parents," Kaguya shook her head, explaining, "It looks like everyone is strictly bringing their brothers and sisters. Their parents are all heading back to their traditional family hometowns to celebrate the New Year."
Hearing her explanation, Seito nodded in understanding. Bringing their siblings along showed that the students were being very thoughtful. It made perfect sense; these young kids wouldn't be familiar with older adults anyway, and forcing them to sit together at a party would only lead to a deeply awkward atmosphere.
With all these students and their siblings gathering at the apartment complex for the big New Year party, what kind of funny trouble do you want to see Kitahara Iori and the boys cause while setting up the main party floor?
