Chapter 6: Extracting Chakra
Hiruzen Sarutobi felt a bit worried seeing Naruto in this state, so he came looking for him while Narutowas grilling fish.
"Little Naruto! Grilling fish all by yourself again?"
"Yeah! Grandpa Third! Do you want one?"
"Sure! I really am hungry."
Hearing this, Naruto cursed inwardly, 'How shameless! He didn't come earlier or later, but waited exactly until I finished grilling the fish. He just doesn't want me to live too well!'
On the surface, however, he picked up a fish and handed it to Hiruzen Sarutobi, but the one he gave him was the worst-grilled of the two.
Hiruzen Sarutobi took it and glanced at it, then compared it with the other fish by the fire, thinking to himself, 'Is Naruto doing this on purpose? Or is it unintentional?'
Fearing Hiruzen Sarutobi might notice something, Naruto looked at him with expectant eyes and said, "Grandpa, why aren't you eating? The others aren't done yet. Is it because it's not fully cooked? But it should be done! The outside is already black, so it must be cooked."
Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly understood, smiled, and said, "Alright, alright, I'll eat it now!"
He thought to himself,'So Naruto was just afraid it wasn't cooked through. Maybe I'm overthinking it!'
Naruto continued with a grin, "I once ate undercooked fish and had diarrhea all night. Since then, I've been grilling the fish until it's a bit charred so I don't have to worry about it being raw."
Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded, no longer suspicious. How could a child have so many hidden thoughts? He must have been overthinking.
After Hiruzen Sarutobi and Naruto finished the grilled fish...
Hiruzen Sarutobi maintained his fake, kind smile and asked, "Little Naruto, why haven't you gone home lately?"
Naruto thought, 'As expected, I knew he came for this. Fortunately, I already prepared an excuse.'
Naruto lowered his head with a dejected expression. "The people in the Village don't like me; they all hate me. So, I thought I'd just stop appearing in front of them. It's actually quite nice here. I don't have to endure those insults and verbal abuse, and no one hits me."
"That won't do, Little Naruto! Wild beasts often appear around here. If you get hurt, no one will know. You should return to the Village!"
Naruto shook his head. "It's okay! I've been practicing running lately. Even if a beast comes, I can run away."
Seeing that Naruto was unwilling to return, Hiruzen Sarutobi grew a bit anxious.
If Naruto didn't feel a sense of belonging to the Village, that wouldn't be good.

"Grandpa Third, what are you talking about? Give it to me, quick! If you give it to me, I'll move back to the Village."
Seeing Naruto's reaction, Hiruzen Sarutobichuckled and nodded, thinking to himself, 'Narutois still very easy to control!'

After saying that, Hiruzen Sarutobi handed a scrollto Naruto.
Naruto opened the scroll and took a look; it was the Uzumaki Clan's Chakra Extraction Technique.
But Naruto quickly realized that he hadn't started school yet and didn't even know how to read. How could he possibly understand what was on the scroll?
So he quickly pretended to be disappointed and said with his head down, "I don't know how to read. What's written on here? I don't recognize any of it."
In reality, Naruto had already quickly memorized the Uzumaki Clan's Chakra Extraction Technique.
Hiruzen Sarutobi was also stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "It's alright. I'll teach you how to extract Chakra first, and after you return, I'll find someone to teach you how to read."
Hearing Hiruzen Sarutobi's words, Naruto wanted to give himself two slaps. Wasn't he just making things harder for himself?
However, on the surface, he still acted happy and said, "Really? Really? That's great! I can become the Hokage!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi watched with a smile as Narutohopped and jumped around.

Naruto nodded and said, "Okay! Then I'm going back! Goodbye, Grandpa Third."
With that, Naruto jogged back to the Village.
Hiruzen Sarutobi watched Naruto's departing figure, feeling that something was off, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He could only say to the Anbu hidden in the shadows, "If the Jinchurikishows any abnormalities, report to me immediately!"
"Yes! Hokage-sama!"
After Naruto returned home, he closed the door and drew the curtains. He knew this was essentially useless, but it was all he could do for now.
Naruto didn't know if he should extract Chakranow. If he did, the people monitoring him would notice immediately.
After pondering for a while, Naruto felt it would be better to wait four or five days before extracting Chakra.
