And had earned the trust of the golden stallion rather than simply overpowering it.
To Kandarpaasura, none of that mattered.
All he could see was the result.
Devara was mounted.
He was not.
And the gods had supposedly designed the challenge fairly.
Kandarpaasura let out a bitter laugh.
"Fair?"
He looked toward the heavens.

His frustration slowly transformed into determination.
Fine.
If the gods had truly made his path several times harder, then he would simply have to overcome that as well.
