The Yali suddenly turned its attention away from Devara and Kandarpaasura.
A distant rumbling reached the clearing.
Through the trees came a herd of enormous elephants.
They were unlike any elephants either contestant had ever seen.
Each possessed four magnificent tusks, two extending from either side of its enormous mouth, while their bodies were covered in thick, dark hide that shimmered faintly beneath the strange light of the forest.
They were majestic creatures, their enormous ears flapping as they ran, their trunks swinging wildly as they desperately tried to escape the beast behind them.
But even creatures of such size and power were terrified.
Because the Yali was chasing them.
