Chapter 166 - The Op-Op Fruit and the Young Trafalgar Law!

Perona couldn't care less whether they were in the West Blue or the North Blue.

Nor did she care why she had supposedly slept for half a month.

As long as Arashi was by her side, nothing else mattered.

Robin, on the other hand, still had her doubts.

But she chose to believe Arashi.

At this stage, Robin would believe almost anything Arashi told her.

To her, there was no one in the world more trustworthy.

So whether she had been unconscious for half a month and somehow ended up in the North Blue really wasn't important.

As long as she could stay beside Arashi, everything else was secondary.

Thus, under Arashi's well-intentioned lie, both girls accepted the story that they had been unconscious for half a month.

Among the Four Blues of the original world, the North Blue was often called the strongest sea.

And that reputation wasn't without basis.

The North Blue had produced an astonishing number of powerful figures.

The most prominent examples were Akainu and Kizaru, both born in the North Blue and both eventually rising to become Marine Headquarters Admirals.

Among the younger generation, Trafalgar Law, Basil Hawkins, and Drake would later stand at the forefront.

Then there was Germa 66, which had once dominated the North Blue.

Although Law, Hawkins, and Drake had not yet begun shining brightly at this point in time, Akainu and Kizaru were already Admirals.

Their existence alone was enough to earn the North Blue its reputation.

Of course, none of that had anything to do with Arashi.

He wasn't traveling here for fame or legends.

For him, the journey itself—and the travel points—were what mattered.

"So... where are we headed next?"

Arashi took the Eternal Pose from Robin and tilted his head while reading it.

"Swallow Island, Neighbor Town?"

"Alright, let's go there."

One day later.

Swallow Island, Neighbor Town.

Several teenage boys stood around a strange-looking machine, staring at it in fascination.

They had seen this thing before.

But none of them knew what it was called.

It was precisely because of this machine that they had dragged the old man who had taken them in—Old Wolf—out of bed early in the morning and helped him push it to a place he referred to as the "runway."

"Wolf, can this thing really fly?"

A boy wearing a hat topped with a red pom-pom stepped forward.

After studying the machine for a long time, he finally couldn't hold back his curiosity.

"And what exactly is it called?"

Old Wolf, who was inspecting the machine, nodded with satisfaction.

"This is called an airplane."

"It can fly through the sky, Penguin."

"An... airplane?"

Penguin blinked blankly.

Then he turned toward the boy beside him.

"Law, you already knew that, didn't you?"

The boy called Law wore a fluffy winter hat decorated with leopard-like spots.

Distinctive dark circles framed his eyes.

A pair of small golden earrings hung from his ears.

He wore a hooded long-sleeved shirt.

Trafalgar Law.

Captain of the Heart Pirates.

Future user of the Op-Op Fruit.

Law nodded.

Then he shouted toward a boy not far away with short orange-red hair, sunglasses, and a green cap with a red brim.

"Shachi! Come help!"

"Got it!"

Shachi gave an enthusiastic OK sign and immediately ran over.

At the same time, he waved toward a white bear standing nearby.

"Bepo! Get over here and help!"

"Ursu!"

With the assistance of Law and the others, the machine Old Wolf called an airplane quickly came to life.

Then it accelerated down the runway at astonishing speed.

"WAAAH!"

"It really flew!"

Watching Old Wolf pilot the airplane into the sky, Penguin and Shachi stared with wide eyes.

"So cool!"

"So amazing!"

"Go, Grandpa Wolf!"

The airplane circled above Neighbor Town with a roaring engine.

Against the blue sky, it looked like a giant white bird soaring through the heavens.

Watching the aircraft above, even Trafalgar Law revealed a rare smile.

Meanwhile—

The Traveler was cutting through the waves and rapidly approaching the waters surrounding Swallow Island.

Before long, the island came into view.

Seeing the land ahead, Perona immediately ran over excitedly.

"Arashi! Arashi!"

"There's an island ahead!"

"Are we going there for our next adventure?"

"You're not planning to start farming again, are you?!"

"Uh... not sure yet."

Arashi shook his head with a smile.

"Though I can't completely rule out the possibility."

Rumble! Rumble! Rumble!

At that moment, a loud engine noise echoed from above Swallow Island.

Immediately afterward, Old Wolf's airplane burst out from above the island and soon passed directly over the Traveler.

"Wow!"

"What is that?!"

Perona's eyes widened instantly as she watched the strange object streak across the sky.

"It's amazing!"

"It can actually fly!"

"HOLY—"

Even Arashi was stunned.

Staring at the aircraft overhead, he could hardly believe his eyes.

"An... airplane?!"

After a moment of shock, realization quickly dawned on him.

Swallow Island.

Wasn't this the home of the genius inventor Wolf?

Just then, the airplane that had flown over the Traveler suddenly emitted a strange noise.

A moment later, thick black smoke began pouring from its tail.

Before Arashi and Perona could react, the aircraft lost control.

Trailing a long plume of smoke, it plunged toward Swallow Island.

At the same time—

Law and the others on the island noticed the situation as well.

When they saw the smoking airplane falling from the sky, their expressions changed drastically.

"This is bad!"

"Grandpa Wolf is in danger!"

BOOM!!!

A thunderous crash echoed across the island.

The airplane slammed into a beach on the far side of Swallow Island.

The moment he saw it happen, Trafalgar Law broke into a sprint without hesitation.

"Grandpa Wolf!!!"

Penguin, Shachi, and Bepo snapped out of their shock and immediately followed after him.

By the time the three arrived at the crash site, Law had already pulled Old Wolf from the wreckage.

Seeing the elderly inventor covered in horrifying injuries, Penguin and the others burst into tears.

Although they had already formed the Heart Pirates under Law, they were still only teenagers.

Faced with a sudden disaster like this, they had no idea what to do.

Law hadn't expected such an accident either.

Looking at the severely injured, unconscious old man who was barely clinging to life, he made a decision without hesitation.

The next second—

The power of the Op-Op Fruit silently activated.

A spherical operating space instantly expanded outward, enveloping the gravely wounded inventor.
