JAIME'S POV.
Nothing was going right. Everything seemed to get worse every day. Georgia had become a shell of her former self. She wasn't the woman I loved, and I wanted so badly to see the lady I fell for.
The Georgia I knew was always smiling. Her smile was beautiful, and her dark eyes always seemed to glow, hiding a whole new world inside. That was the lady I had loved.
The Georgia I loved only had eyes for me, and no one else. There was no Nikolaj in her heart. I was the only one in her mind, but over the years, she had suddenly turned into someone else.
Every night, the past haunted me, and it felt like everyone I knew was laughing at me. Slowly, I was losing everyone I cared about and everyone who cared about me.
It felt like I would never get what I wanted, but that was a lie. I was going to have Georgia. If I couldn't have her, then no one else would. She was mine and mine alone.
