Silence.
Heavy.
Dangerous.
The man's words still echoed in the room.
"It's already in motion."
Damian's grip tightened around his collar.
His eyes—
Completely dark now.
"What did you do?"
His voice was low.
Deadly calm.
The man only smiled.
"You'll find out soon enough."
That was it.
Damian released him suddenly.
Stepping back.
"Lock him up."
The guards moved instantly.
Dragging the man away.
His laughter echoed faintly as he disappeared.
Lucas stepped forward immediately.
"This isn't good."
Damian didn't respond.
He turned away.
Walking toward the window.
His mind already working.
Fast.
Sharp.
"If it's already in motion…"
Lucas continued.
"…then something is about to happen."
A pause.
"Or already happening."
Damian added quietly.
That changed everything.
He turned back instantly.
"Double security."
"Inside and outside."
Lucas nodded.
Already moving.
"No one leaves."
Damian added.
"And no one enters."
Upstairs — Elara's Room
Elara stood still.
Her chest rising and falling slowly.
She felt it.
Something was wrong.
Not just normal danger.
Something bigger.
Ethan looked up from his laptop.
"Yeah… I feel it too."
She turned to him.
"What did you find?"
Ethan hesitated this time.
That alone…
Made her anxious.
"Ethan."
He exhaled slowly.
"They didn't just hack in…"
A pause.
"They planted something."
Elara's heart dropped.
"…Where?"
Ethan looked at her.
"…I'm still tracking it."
Before she could respond—
The door opened.
Damian walked in.
Fast.
Focused.
Dangerous.
"Elara."
His voice was firm.
She straightened immediately.
"What's happening?"
Damian's eyes flickered briefly to Ethan.
"What did you find?"
Ethan stood up.
"They planted something in your system."
Damian's expression didn't change.
"Where?"
"I'm tracing it."
"Do it faster."
Ethan frowned slightly.
"I am—"
"Faster."
Damian repeated.
That tone again.
Ethan didn't argue this time.
He sat back down.
Typing rapidly.
Seconds passed.
Then—
His eyes widened slightly.
"…Oh no."
Elara stepped closer.
"What?"
Ethan turned the screen toward them.
"It's not just your system."
A pause.
"It's connected to the security network."
Silence.
Damian's eyes darkened further.
"What does that mean?"
Ethan swallowed slightly.
"It means…"
"They can see everything."
Another pause.
"And…"
"They can control it."
Outside — The Mansion Grounds
Everything looked normal.
Guards in position.
Gates closed.
Security tight.
But then—
A small flicker.
One camera glitched.
Then another.
A gate system blinked.
Unlocked.
Back Inside
Ethan's fingers froze on the keyboard.
"…They're in."
Damian turned immediately.
"Lucas!"
His voice echoed through the halls.
"Get everyone ready!"
Footsteps rushed outside the room.
Elara's heart pounded.
"What's happening?"
Damian looked at her.
And for a brief second—
She saw it.
Not fear.
But something close.
"War."
A loud sound echoed from outside.
A gunshot.
Then another.
Seraphina's voice screamed from down the hallway.
"Mummy!"
Elara's heart stopped.
She ran.
Damian moved instantly.
And just like that—
Peace was gone.
And war had finally arrived at their door.
