I sat behind my desk and pulled my sketchbook closer... The moment I opened it, my attention went straight to Connie's wedding cake design.
I stared at the ten feet cake like I was seeing it for the first time... A whole damn ten feet, who the hell does she want to feed with this? Because even after drawing it, planning it, and discussing it, the size still looked ridiculous every time I stared at it.
The sketch covered almost the entire page and to be fair, it looked elegant, grand, beautiful and completely insane and I wondered the number of people that will be at her wedding to require this size of cake.
Or maybe it's not about feeding people, she probably just want it for the elegance and aesthetic. Whatever her plans was for the cake, it's remarkably insane.
