Jacob looked up at Damon after he heard his promise. Those words give him a reason to calm down. Slowly, he nodded his head to him.
"That's good. Come here slowly. Don't look around, just straight in my eyes". Damon said and kept the smile on his lips while his one hand was still extended.
Jacob just nodded again, his movements were slow, he tried to steady his knees so that he would not fall to the floor, because his knees were shaking.
Slowly, and listening to what Damon said he walked as he directly looked at Damon's eyes.
"Don't look around" Damon reminded him when he saw his eyes move slightly.
"H-help me" Jacob said and tears flowed again when he heard that voice again.
"I will. I will help you" Damon said before he immediately moved past and grabbed Jacob's hand and hugged him tightly.
"I'm here now. Don't worry". Damon's soft whisper to him.
"D-Damon".
"Shh. It's okay"
