Evening came, and Damon was still sitting by the side of the bed while watching every rise and fall of Jacob's chest.
Several hours had passed, but until now Jacob still hasn't woken up. He used up all his strength because of the things happening to him.
After a while, three knocks from the door of his room broke the silence.
"Alpha" it was Beta Kulas.
Damon didn't bother to say something. He just stood up from where he was sitting to open the door.
"What?" he asked coldly before closing the door because Jacob's pheromones were still there.
"Senior Emilia wants to talk to you. She's in the living area now with your mother". Beta Kulas said, so Damon nodded gently before starting to walk with his Beta following behind.
But before they could get far from Damon's room, Kulas looked back again. His eyes showed how worried he was for his friend.
