Chapter 95 - Samantha’s School of Genius

The morning sun spilled over the city skyline, but Samantha was already in full swing—her tiny backpack bouncing as she tugged Mau and Tim toward her first day at her special "forest-inspired" school.

"Mama! Papa! Look!" she shouted, pointing at her homemade compass strapped to her chest. "I'm ready to explore!"

Mau laughed, adjusting her daughter's backpack. "Explore the classroom, not the building, Sam."

Tim crouched beside her. "And remember, no climbing the curtains. That's a rule."

Samantha scrunched her nose. "Rules are suggestions if you're clever enough!"

At school, Samantha's classroom had more plants than desks, and the blackboard was half chalk, half magnetic board for experiments. Tay Eming had even contributed some "village science" lessons, so students could learn practical problem-solving using nature.

Samantha immediately claimed the front row. "I'll lead the experiment!" she announced.

The teacher, Ms. Villanueva, a petite woman with a wide smile, raised an eyebrow. "Lead the experiment, Samantha? Are you sure?"

"Yes! I have a plan!" Samantha pulled out a collection of rocks, sticks, and colored water. "We'll make a river system that works for both fish and squirrels!"

Other students whispered, impressed—and a little intimidated.

Mau watched from the back, leaning against the doorway with Tim. "She's… fearless," Mau said softly.

Tim nodded. "And a genius. She's going to be unstoppable."

Meanwhile, back at M Designs' headquarters, Mau was juggling calls from overseas clients. The new eco-friendly collection was launching in Paris and New York simultaneously, and the logistics were a nightmare.

Tim appeared in the doorway, holding a small wooden model. "Samantha made a 'city squirrel bridge' today. She insists it's necessary for the office."

Mau laughed. "We'll add it to the sustainability report. Right after I finish negotiating with the French supplier."

Tim grinned. "Who knew our empire would be guided by a three-year-old?"

Later that afternoon, Samantha returned from school with Tay Eming accompanying her. She was bubbling with ideas.

"Mama! Papa! I taught everyone about pulley systems and water cycles! And we made a bridge for toy animals! And I told them candy makes the world better!"

Mau crouched to her level. "You really did all that?"

"Yes! And the teacher said I'm very smart! Just like you, Mama!"

Tim ruffled her hair. "And just like you, Sam—fearless and funny. Maybe one day, you'll lead the empire."

Samantha's eyes sparkled. "Yes! And I'll have candy machines in every office!"

Mau and Tim laughed, watching her run off to show Dale and Sierra her latest project—a combination of sticks, string, and colored paper that resembled a miniature "forest city."

That evening, the family gathered on the terrace overlooking both the city skyline and distant forest hills. Samantha placed small rocks along the railing, pretending they were skyscrapers.

"Look, Mama! Forest city!" she declared.

Mau smiled, brushing her daughter's curls. "It's perfect, Sam. Just like you."

Tim added, "And don't forget, another little genius will be joining the team soon."

Samantha's eyes widened. "A baby brother or sister?"

Mau nodded, smiling. "Yes, another little adventurer for our family."

Samantha squealed in delight and ran in circles, waving her arms. "I'll teach them everything I know!"

Dale laughed. "And the empire just got even more chaotic."

Sierra smiled. "And more love-filled."

That night, after Samantha had fallen asleep, Mau and Tim sat on the balcony, hands entwined.

"I never imagined balancing empire, city, forest, and a genius toddler would be… this fun," Mau said softly.

Tim kissed her temple. "It's chaotic, yes, but look at her. And us. This is exactly the life we wanted—full of adventure, love, and laughter."

Mau rested her head on his shoulder. "And soon, it'll grow even more."

Tim smiled. "Another little explorer on the way."

The stars glittered above, city lights shimmered below, and the forest whispered in the distance. The family was growing, the empire thriving, and Samantha—already a force of nature—was only beginning her journey.
