Auxiliary Chapter 2 — Understanding The Ranking System
Now that you understand what a Talent is and where it comes from, there is one more thing you need to know before diving into the story.
How do we measure how powerful a Talent user actually is?
The answer is the Talent Pot Classification System.
How The System Works
Remember the Talent Pot the tank inside every Awakened human that contains the full potential of their Talent.
Every Awakened human starts with access to five percent of that tank. Training opens it further. The more of the tank you can access, the more powerful you become.
The Awakeners Police built a ranking system around this. Each rank corresponds to a specific percentage range of the Talent Pot that the user can access and control.
The rank tells you not just how powerful someone is it tells you how much of their Talent's true potential they have unlocked.
Here is what each rank means.
E Rank — Awakened
Talent Pot Access: 0 – 10%
This is where everyone begins.
A newly manifested Talent user has no control yet. Their ability comes out when it wants to triggered by emotion, panic, or situations the user didn't choose.
At this stage, the Talent is as dangerous to the people around the user as it is to any enemy.
E Rank users are not deployed in serious field conditions. They are monitored, assessed, and sent to the Academy for training.
Every Talent user in history no matter how powerful they eventually became started here.
D Rank — Soldier
Talent Pot Access: 11 – 25%
The first real milestone.
A D Rank user has achieved basic control. They can activate their Talent deliberately instead of relying on emotional triggers.
They are deployable in the field but only with supervision. They are no longer a danger to everyone around them… but they are not yet fully reliable.
This is where real training begins.
C Rank — Knight
Talent Pot Access: 26 – 40%
Consistency under pressure.
A C Rank user can sustain their Talent in active combat without burning out quickly. They can fight, adapt, and continue using their abilities across extended engagements.
Their output becomes reliable what they can do in training is what they can do in real combat. Most active Awakeners Police officers operate at this level. This is the backbone of the force.
B Rank — Warlord
Talent Pot Access: 41 – 60%
This is where things begin to change.
At B Rank, Talent users start unlocking secondary abilities new expressions of their power that didn't exist at lower levels.Their presence begins to affect the environment itself.
A B Rank user doesn't just enter a battlefield.They change it.
A Rank — Champion
Talent Pot Access: 61 – 80%
Elite. Rare. Most Awakeners who train their entire lives reach their limit somewhere in this range. And that is not a failure. It is excellence. An A Rank user can decide the outcome of a battle simply by being present. Their involvement is often the turning point.
There are not many of them. And the ones who exist are known.
S Rank — Sovereign
Talent Pot Access: 81 – 99%
This is beyond elite. At any given time, the number of S Rank Awakeners in the entire Republic of Edenia is extremely small. Not dozens. Not even close. Each one is known by name. Each one is treated as a strategic asset, not just a powerful individual.
An S Rank user doesn't just win battles.
They redefine what is possible within them.
Reaching this level through training alone is the highest achievement a human being can reach.
Divine Classification — Apostle
Talent Pot Access: 100% — True Form
This classification exists only in the oldest records.Only a select few has acquired this.An Apostle is not just powerful. They are a vessel for a complete Divine Class Talent a God's power at full output, fully realized through a human body. Not borrowed. Not partial.Complete.The term Apostle was chosen deliberately.Because whoever wrote those records understood exactly what that level of power meant.
And they were afraid of it.The classification still exists.Documented.Waiting.
