Vael's POV
The afternoon sun streamed through the large living room windows, casting a warm golden light across the apartment. I sat on the couch with my tablet in my lap, reviewing some work emails, while Lirien curled up beside me with his sketchbook open on his knees.
He had been drawing quietly for the past hour, the soft scratch of his pencil the only sound besides the distant city noise outside.
I loved these peaceful moments.
Lirien suddenly closed his sketchbook and turned to me, his violet eyes bright with nervous excitement.
"Vael?" he said softly.
I set my tablet aside immediately and gave him my full attention. "Yes, sweetheart?"
He bit his lip for a second, then spoke in a rush. "I've been thinking a lot about what we talked about… about art. I really want to try going to an art class. Or maybe even a proper school. Not just drawing at home. I want to learn from teachers, meet other people who love art too. Is that… is that possible?"
