After all, Shinichi's feat of destroying a city with the power of a typhoon, the majestic golden lightning that descended like the heavenly punishment, and the final strike that shattered the Three-Tails Jinchuriki, over the course of more than twenty days, those achievements had more than enough time to ferment and push public recognition in those fields into the purple realm.
They had even upgraded several days faster than the previous Incarnation of Fire purple talent.
After all, Shinichi was now far more famous than before, more eyes were watching him, and the things he had done were even more shocking.
The final purple talent, however, was a new one that even surprised Shinichi slightly, [Master Level 1 (Purple)]
[Master Level 1 (Purple): You are a representative figure who has demonstrated master-level accomplishments across multiple fields. Your efficiency and upper limits in learning, training, combat, innovation, and all other domains receive comprehensive and extremely significant enhancement.]
This talent had evolved from Genius, the talent that boosted all fields.
The moment Shinichi saw its description, he immediately understood.
Genius and Master appeared to be separated by only a single step, yet between them lay a chasm that countless people could never cross in their entire lives.
A genius represents talent, potential, and a promising future. When people look at a Genius, what they see is what that person may become someday.
A possibility, a future, and a perhaps.
A master, however, represents achievements that have already been realized and accomplishments that have been repeatedly validated by time and results.
When people look at a master, what they see is what that person has already achieved.
A reality, a fact, and an already is.
The distance from Genius to Master was the distance between a gifted youth and a legendary grand figure.
Now, Shinichi has already displayed master-level accomplishments in Fire Style, Wind Style, Lightning Style, Medicine, Strategy, and Intelligence.
The master-level recognition across these five fields overlapped and reinforced one another, ultimately giving rise to a comprehensive talent encompassing all of them.
From this moment onward, the name Shinichi Higashino was no longer merely recognized as the greatest Genius in ninja history; he had become an existence who had truly established the status of a master in multiple fields.
"So in other words, if I want this talent to advance further and reach Level 2, I'll first need to raise multiple fields to Level 2 and become the acknowledged pinnacle of multiple disciplines in the eyes of the world?"
Shinichi pondered silently.
The leap from Genius to Master was undoubtedly of enormous help to him.
The direct numerical bonuses were actually secondary; the truly important aspect was the comprehensive increase in efficiency and upper limits.
This meant that his future training, deduction, innovation, interdisciplinary integration, and especially his normal day-to-day training would all operate from a much higher baseline.
With that thought, he shifted his gaze toward the occupation section and frowned slightly.
The Master Swordsman occupation still had not been upgraded.
Although that was largely his own fault, the recognition feedback from a clone already operated at only fifty percent efficiency, yet before the public's attention could remain focused on Isshin for long, Shinichi himself had created a world-shaking sensation.
As a result, all eyes had been dragged back to the original body.
Who still had time to care about the Land of Iron National Swordsmanship Tournament? The popularity of Isshin's championship title had been like a single match beside a bonfire; before it could fully catch fire, it had already been blown out.
"I'll think of a solution later."
Shinichi withdrew his thoughts and closed the system panel.
...
At noon that day, in a laboratory deep within a field hospital behind Konoha's headquarters.
Shinichi sat in the chair, silent, seemingly lost in thought, while beside him, more than a dozen Shadow Clones were busy with their own tasks.
The lab bench was filled with all sorts of bottles, jars, and containers, red, yellow, blue, purple, powdery, liquid, and samples of different colors and shapes were arranged in categories.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Please come in."
Two Konoha ninjas quietly pushed open the door and came in carrying several tightly sealed wooden crates.
The two men gave a crisp bow, and one of them said, "Captain Shinichi, what you requested has arrived."
Shinichi nodded: "Thank you for your trouble, seniors."
"This is what we should do."
The two gently placed the wooden box on the open ground next to the lab table, bowed again, and then quietly closed the door and left.
Stepping out of the lab, one of the ninjas finally couldn't contain his curiosity and asked in a low voice, "What do you think Captain Shinichi needs so much dye for?"
For the past two weeks, under orders from the command headquarters, the Konoha logistics department has been purchasing almost every type of dye available on the market from shops in Konoha and various towns in the Land of Fire, and then sending them to Shinichi's laboratory in batches.
"It's probably an experiment, right?" Another ninja thought for a moment; his tone was filled with uncertainty.
"Perhaps it's an experiment related to Medical Ninjutsu?"
"What does dye have to do with Medical Ninjutsu?"
"I don't know."
His companion shook his head, his tone quite frank: "Anyway, we'll just do as they say."
Inside the laboratory, Shinichi got up again, opened the wooden box, and took out bottles and jars of dye, then quickly prepared solutions of different concentrations for each dye.
Meanwhile, the nearby Shadow Clones quickly came over to take over, dripping the liquids of varying shades onto the pre-cultured bacterial samples, then bent down to carefully observe their individual changes.
He was looking for a special dye, or, more precisely, he was trying to invent a completely new, widely available antibacterial drug: The sulfonamide.
To be honest, he has wanted to complain about the level of technology in this world for a long time.
Perhaps it is because of the existence of chakra, this extraordinary energy, that the world's technology tree has grown in an extremely distorted way.
In this era, within the Land of Fire, a small region, represented by major cities like the capital, has a technological level comparable to that of his previous life in the 1970s and 80s, possessing televisions, projectors, cameras, and telephones.
However, many towns and villages remained in a state of near-medieval backwardness, relying entirely on oil lamps for lighting and firewood for cooking and heating, with not even a decent candle to be found.
Ironically, in certain fields, such as some research facilities in Konoha, the level of technology is so advanced that it can be described as cutting-edge, and there are things that had not been achieved in his previous life but already exist here.
This is especially true in the medical field.
The high-end aspects are ridiculously advanced. Medical Ninjutsu can heal lacerations at a speed visible to the naked eye. Certain specially made antidotes can easily deal with dozens of common toxins, and a small Military Rations Pill can restore a grown manual laborer's full strength in a short time.
However, once outside the elite circle of ninjas, the medical care available to ordinary civilians plummeted.
In most towns and villages, doctors still rely on ancestral experience and limited herbal medicine to treat diseases.
In more remote areas, medical practices are not much different from those of primitive tribes, and it is common for doctors to seek divine help and practice witchcraft.
In short, healthcare in this world is highly elitist.
