Finally, it was just Emily and Dylan in the room.
Emily found herself staring at Dylan, someone she might have developed a crush on from the very beginning if his brother hadn't taken all the attention.
As she watched him from across the room, noticing how he occasionally bit the end of his pencil and frowned whenever he got stuck, she couldn't help but see just how handsome… and slightly clumsy he was.
But things between them had already escalated, and right now, she needed to fix that first before anything else.
So, she coughed lightly, drawing his attention.
It worked.
Dylan looked up at her, and once she had his attention, she said bluntly, "You're doing it totally wrong."
"Oh…" Dylan paused, holding his pencil mid-air. "I'm actually quite bad at this."
"How did you even get admitted?" Emily asked without thinking. "This is basic… did you rig the exams?"
And just like that, there it was.
