Chapter 2 - Episode 2: The Girl He Shouldn’t Think About

The rain had stopped… but Meera Verma still couldn't calm her heartbeat.

She walked home in silence, soaked clothes clinging to her skin, mind replaying the same moment again and again.

Those eyes.

Cold. Dark. Dangerous.

Yet… they didn't feel empty.

They felt like something was hidden behind them.

Something painful.

Something human.

Meera reached her small home late that night.

Her mother called out from inside, but Meera barely responded. She went straight to her room and closed the door.

For a long time, she just stood there.

Then slowly, she whispered to herself—

"Why did he save me…?"

There was no answer.

Only silence.

But somewhere in her chest, that silence was getting louder.

On the other side of the city, the world was not silent.

It was blood. Power. Control.

And at the center of it all stood Kabir Rajvansh.

A dimly lit room. Heavy smoke. Men waiting for orders.

But Kabir wasn't listening.

He was staring at nothing.

Or maybe… at someone he shouldn't remember.

"Boss," his right-hand man spoke carefully, "the witness last night—should we handle it?"

That brought Kabir back.

His gaze turned sharp instantly.

"No."

A pause.

Then colder—

"She doesn't exist in this world."

Silence fell.

His men understood what that meant.

She was not to be touched.

Not to be followed.

Not to be found.

A rule only Kabir could break… and only Kabir could enforce.

But even after everyone left…

he didn't move.

Because for the first time in years…

he was making mistakes in his thoughts.

He saw her face again.

Standing in the rain.

Confused… but fearless.

Alive… because he allowed it.

And that thought irritated him.

Not because it was wrong.

But because it felt… personal.

Meanwhile, Meera tried to focus on her life.

College. Work. Survival.

But her mind kept drifting back.

To the man in the car.

To the blood on his forehead.

To the way he looked at her… like he was seeing something he had lost long ago.

She shook her head.

"No… I shouldn't think about him."

But her heart didn't listen.

Because for the first time…

someone dangerous didn't scare her away.

He stayed in her thoughts.

That night, Kabir stood alone on the rooftop of his mansion.

Wind hit his face. City lights flickered below him.

He should have been thinking about his empire.

His enemies.

His next move.

But instead…

he whispered into the night—

"Stay away from my world…"

A pause.

"…Meera."

And for the first time, saying her name didn't feel like a mistake.

It felt like a warning to himself.

To be continued… 💔
