With empty stomachs, they all stared guiltily at the pot that was supposed to contain their dinner.
The smell of burnt noodles still lingered in the room, reminding everyone of the disaster that had occurred moments ago.
"Now I don't know what to do," Tessa groaned, rubbing the back of her neck. "All the ingredients are completely ruined, and here I was thinking we'd be eating the best noodles ever."
The others lowered their heads.
No one looked particularly proud of themselves.
Tessa sighed.
She wasn't going to blame any of them.
Honestly, this was what happened when too many men were gathered around one woman.
They competed.
They argued.
They got jealous.
And apparently, they burned food.
Tessa hadn't expected things to escalate to this level, but she hoped that from now on they would at least try to cooperate.
Though if she was being honest, cooperation was much easier said than done.
"I caused this, didn't I?"
Leonard's voice was filled with guilt.
