Evelyn's jaw dropped to the floor. 'Collude? She wanted a gun. She wanted to turn Michael Thorn into a beehive.'
Dominic Falcon practically leaped backward the moment he finished speaking, putting several yards of safety between himself and Evelyn's mounting fury.
"Are you absolutely sure he said that?" Evelyn asked, her eyes flashing with a murderous light that promised no mercy.
Dominic nodded so hard his glasses nearly slid off. "Miss Sin, give me ten thousand lives and I still wouldn't dare lie using the Boss's name! He was very specific about the... 'colluding' part."
