The President's daughter looked warmly at Evelyn, eagerly striking up a conversation with her.
Upon learning that her new husband and Evelyn had previously worked at the same company, she couldn't help but regret not meeting Kenzo Shao sooner. She truly adored Evelyn, even though Evelyn had been out of the media spotlight for quite some time.
"Mr. Rois, Miss Sin, Miss Donald; please excuse us as we move on to toast the next table. Enjoy your meal, and please forgive any shortcomings in our hospitality," The President said with a polite, gracious smile before leading his daughter and new son-in-law, toward the neighboring guests.
Shortly after, Evelyn felt a sudden urge to use the restroom. Leaning closer to Alexander, she whispered softly, "Please go ahead and eat. I need to step out for a moment."
But Alexander made a move to accompany her. "Let me take you."
A faint blush crept up Evelyn's cheeks. "No need, Mary will come with me. I'll be back shortly."
