Synopsis
[Ding! Ultimate Troll Duel System Bound.] Jiang He transmigrated into the Yu-Gi-Oh Duel World with one simple goal: to become the King of Games. But unlike other duelists who rely on the "Heart of the Cards" or overwhelming dragons, Jiang He’s System gave him a different path. The Troll Deck. As long as he tilts his opponents and leaves them feeling absolute despair, he earns Emotion Points! These points can be exchanged for any deck, rare cards, and even supernatural abilities from the System Shop. Extreme Burn Decks? Toxic Stall Decks? The ability to see Duel Spirits? Even the power of Spirit Materialization? It is all within his grasp. While Kaiba and Yugi are busy summoning massive gods, Jiang He is slowly torturing his opponents with the most toxic traps in duel history. Dark Magician Girl: "I've decided to follow Jiang He, Master! Chu~!" Jiang He: "Dueling is all about bringing a 'smile' to your opponent's face... even if they are crying tears of absolute rage!"

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I’m Actually Quite Compassionate

Duel Academy, inside one of the testing arenas.

At this moment, the practical exam for the elite academy of duelists was in full swing.

A middle-aged professor with a bizarre golden mushroom hairstyle and purple lipstick radiating a distinctively flamboyant energy was locked in a duel with a teenage examinee whose hair practically screamed "protagonist."

"Listen well, Jaden Yuki boy. Dueling has no room for your meaningless persistence," the professor scoffed. "Even if you summon that Elemental HERO Flame Wingman with its 2100 attack points, it's still no match for my Ancient Gear Golem."

The golden-haired mushroom head, known as Professor Vellian Crowler, pointed a finger mockingly at the boy who had just summoned his signature monster. "The gates of Duel Academy are already closing on you, no-ne!"

"It looks like examinee number 110 is finished," Syrus Truesdale said pessimistically from the spectator seats surrounding the arena.

He quickly noticed that the lazy, black-haired youth sitting next to him someone who had arrived with Jaden suddenly stood up.

"Candidate 111, are you planning to just give up?" Syrus asked.

"No," the lazy youth replied, waving a hand dismissively. "It's just that Jaden is about to win, so I'm going to go start getting ready."

His words sent a shockwave through the nearby students.

This guy actually claimed that Jaden Yuki the unfortunate soul who had been singled out for a test by Professor Crowler himself was about to win?

Syrus and Bastion Misawa, who had finished his own exam recently, looked at him with profound suspicion.

This candidate, apparently named Jiang He, must have cracked under the pressure. Being the last two candidates to arrive late only to see Professor Crowler step onto the field personally must have driven him into some sort of mental breakdown.

Jiang He really wanted to retort.

He couldn't exactly tell them that he had seen the original anime and knew Jaden was seconds away from victory.

That was the truth he was a transmigrator. Specifically, he had been playing a Yu-Gi-Oh mobile game when he suddenly found himself transported into this world. He had arrived just in time to see Jaden Yuki and Yugi Muto two individuals whose hair alone could win championships collide in the street because the former was running late.

After recognizing them, Jiang He instantly realized he was in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX era.

Guessing that Jaden was heading to the exams and that Yugi would likely pull some strings with the principal to delay the cutoff time, Jiang He had decisively stepped in to "make a friend." He managed to hitch a ride through the Academy's back door on Jaden's coattails.

For Yugi Muto, asking the principal to wait for two people instead of one made no difference at all. He was more than happy to help two juniors who were passionate about the dueling world.

By successfully inserting himself into the plot, Jiang He had also managed to activate his "cheat" the system.

*[Ultimate Dueling Depression System]*

The premise was simple: as long as he tilted his opponents during a duel breaking their spirit and winning the match he would earn a massive amount of Emotion Points. These points could be used in the system shop to purchase various cards and supernatural abilities from the Yu-Gi-Oh world.

We're talking about decks like Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician Girl, and even various "toxic" decks. There were also powers like the ability to conduct Shadow Duels or see Duel Spirits.

Jiang He had immediately proclaimed that the "Dark Magician Girl" part wasn't important. He was simply a man of great compassion who wanted to be able to see Duel Spirits so they wouldn't have to suffer the loneliness of being ghosts!
