Chapter 8 - CHAPTER 8-THE UNKNOWN FORMULA

The nights at Future Tech Academy had grown longer and quieter. Rows of glass tubes glowed in the dark lab like fireflies, and three young minds refused to rest.

Allen (Sugar) studied the faded blueprints from the old Z-Tech chest, while Steve (Salt) adjusted microscope slides beside Stacy Rivera. She was tracing faint strands of organic tissue that pulsed faintly under ultraviolet light.

"This sample isn't just protein," Stacy said, eyes narrowing. "It's coded—half organic, half synthetic."

"A bridge between biology and machine," Allen murmured.

"Exactly," Steve added. "If we solve this formula, the Auto-Cell could power life itself."

At the next table, Lily Evans typed furiously, running decryption programs on the scanned papers Numbers and symbols danced across her screen.

"Whatever this formula is, someone hid it behind triple-layered code," she said. "Looks military."

Dr Adrian Blake entered quietly, his lab coat flaring slightly in the airflow.

"Careful, children. Some knowledge was buried for a reason. What you're studying predates even VoltCorp."

The name hung heavy in the air. Through the window, two men—Professor Volt and Mr Daren Holt—watched from a visiting gallery above. Volt's voice was calm, almost admiring.

"They're closer than anyone ever came to reviving T-74 M."

"Shall I move in?" Holt asked.

"No," Volt said. "Let curiosity finish the work for us."

Down in the lab, Ethan Ward calibrated sensors while Ryan Cole checked the security feed. Young Leo Grant scribbled notes, eyes shining.

"We might be rewriting history," he whispered.

Stacy looked up from her microscope, her voice soft but steady.

"Then let's make sure history remembers it as creation—not destruction."

The monitors blinked green. Somewhere inside that formula, life itself had begun to stir.
