Cherreads

To be read after ARC 1(Chapter 11)

Internal Document of the Guild Archives Access Level: Public – Authorized Broadcast

📜 Archivist's Note

This document is the first in a series detailing the different Tiers of evolution. It outlines Tier 0—the universal starting point, the foundation upon which everything else is built.

Understanding this Tier is essential to measuring the sheer scale of what comes after.

✍️ Author's Note

Hohoho! I am back, your favorite author!

As you have noticed in the recent chapters, the universe is starting to take an interesting turn. So, let's start at the very beginning: Tier 0.

This first technical installment lays the groundwork. Literally.

Best read after Chapter 3—to understand what "evolving" truly means when you start from the absolute bottom.

🚶‍♂️ Tier 0 – Normal Human

The Base Vessel

Description: The standard human, in all its fragility and potential.

This Tier is not the result of transcendence—it is the starting line, the raw material upon which everything else will be constructed. Its limits are those of natural biology, but it is also the only Tier accessible to everyone, without effort, without ascension.

Tier 0 is what you are as you read these lines.

📊 Standardized Attributes & Capabilities

The values below represent the human average. Training and genetics can push these limits, but never beyond biological possibility.

🏋️‍♂️ Strength

* Maximum lifting range: 50 to 100 kg depending on training.

* Striking power: A punch can be fatal in vital areas, but raw power alone cannot kill by simple impact.

* Torsion force: Can bend thin metal (wire, thin sheet metal) with effort.

* Absolute Limit: Human strength remains within the framework of natural mechanics. World records (weightlifting) are the ultimate expression of this maximum potential.

🛡️ Endurance & Resilience

* Impact resistance: A fall of 2–3 meters can cause serious injury. A fall of 5 meters is often fatal.

* Ballistic resistance: Zero. Skin cannot resist any sharp or piercing weapons.

* Metabolism: Runs on food, water, and sleep. 24–48 hours without these elements leads to severe system failure.

* Sickness: Vulnerable to all infections, viruses, and toxins.

* Absolute Limit: The human body is fragile. Untreated hemorrhaging kills in minutes. An untreated infection kills in days.

🏃‍♂️ Speed & Agility

* Top speed: 10–12 km/h over short distances (sprinting), 5–6 km/h in endurance.

* Reaction time: 0.2 to 0.25 seconds for a simple visual stimulus.

* Vertical mobility: Vertical jump of 30–50 cm, maximum reachable height ~2 meters.

* Absolute Limit: Olympic records are the ultimate expression of human potential, but they remain strictly within natural possibilities.

🧠 Mind & Perception

* Processing capacity: Aware of about 50–100 bits of information per second (attentional limit).

* Memory: Variable by individual. Forgets most details after a few days/weeks.

* Perception: Visual range of a few kilometers, auditory range of a few dozen meters.

* Absolute Limit: The human mind is limited by its biology. Mental fatigue, stress, and emotion severely alter its performance.

🧬 Human Biology – The Raw Material

Composition

* Atoms: Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Calcium, Phosphorus, etc.—standard organic chemistry.

* Water: Approximately 60% of the body.

* Bones: 206 bones, hollow structure filled with marrow. Compressive strength: ~170 MPa for a femur (theoretical). Breaks under violent shocks.

* Skin and Tissues: Thin skin (1–2 mm thick), easily pierced, cut, or burned. Limited regeneration: cannot regrow a finger or repair a major organ.

* Brain: Approximately 86 billion neurons. If destroyed—immediate death. If damaged—permanent functional loss.

⏳ Aging and Longevity

* Natural Aging: Cellular wear, shortening of telomeres, accumulation of damage.

* Average life expectancy: 70–90 years depending on conditions.

* Theoretical maximum: Around 120 years.

⚖️ The Philosophy of Tier 0

Tier 0 is the only Tier that is not earned.

Everyone is born here.

It is the default vessel that every being receives at birth. No one deserves it, no one chooses it. It is simply given. Crossing over to Tier 1 is the first true decision an individual makes:

> "I do not want to stay in this vessel."

>

It is accepting to change one's very nature, not just to improve.

📈 Progression Within Tier 0

Tier 0 spans across Levels 1 to 9.

Level (State) 1 (Starting point) 2 – 4 (Gradual improvement) 5 – 8 (Approching humain limits) 9 (Absolute maximum potential reached)

Each gained level fills the "vessel" a little more. The body and mind edge closer to their natural limits. But the vessel itself does not change.

🔍 Application to Recent Events

The three recruits in Chapter 2 went from Level 1 to Level 3 in a single dungeon run.

Their vessel (Tier 0) filled by a third in minutes. Their strength, speed, and reflexes surpassed those of a normal human. Yet, Remedy—a Tier 0 human, likely at a low level—defeated them without a System or a Class.

Why? Because Leveling fills the vessel, but Training teaches you how to use its contents. The recruits had raw power, but zero mastery. Remedy had the mastery, and it completely closed the gap.

By the end of Chapter 3, Remedy reached Level 2. His own vessel is finally filling up.

🔓 Heading Toward Tier 1

Tier 0 is filled by Leveling up to its theoretical maximum (Level 9).

Then comes the choice: filling it further is impossible. The vessel is full.

It must be shattered. That is the first Tier upgrade. The first transcendence.

✅ What Tier 0 can accomplish:

* Break world records.

* Master techniques to perfection.

* Survive extreme natural conditions.

* Compensate for a lack of power with raw experience.

❌ What Tier 0 CANNOT do:

* Regenerate a limb.

* Survive a fatal fall.

* Resist a bullet.

* Exceed biological limits.

Hohoho...

Now you understand. Tier 0 is us. It is our world. It is fragility. And yet, it is where everything begins.

Next time: Tier 1 — The First Transcendence.
