Frieza forced his body to a halt in mid-air, staring down at Turles in sheer terror.
"How?! How is this possible?! I won't accept this! I REFUSE TO LOSE! HAAAAAH!"
Purple flares erupted around Frieza once more. He gathered energy between his palms, manifesting a colossal sphere of destruction that dwarfed anything he had thrown before. He hurled it down at Turles with everything he had left.
"TURN TO DUST ALONG WITH THIS PLANET!!"
"Heh. In that case, this is where it ends, Frieza!"
Turles cupped his hands at his waist.
"KA..."
Brilliant blue energy began to swirl and condense.
"ME..."
A dazzling blue light intensified alongside his golden aura.
"HA..."
The sphere of energy pulsed with a terrifying pressure.
"ME..."
"HA—!!"
A massive pillar of blue light roared from Turles's palms.
"HAA!"
The overwhelming beam slammed into Frieza's energy sphere and pushed it back at a frightening speed.
Frieza watched in utter disbelief as his own ultimate attack was driven back toward him. "Impossible...!!!"
He turned to flee, but the beam was too fast. In an instant, Frieza was swallowed by the raging torrent of blue energy.
Turles poured more power into the blast. He wasn't like Son Goku; he didn't believe in giving second chances to monsters. Frieza needed to be erased from existence once and for all.
Under the relentless wash of the blue pillar, Frieza's silhouette vanished completely.
And just like that, the Emperor of the Universe, Frieza, was reduced to stardust over Planet Namek.
As Turles powered down to his base form, he muttered to himself, "I guess if I want to raise my power level quickly, aside from training, I really have to rely on picking up attribute points from battles. The drop rate from my own fights is way too low... but a Frost Demon Bloodline? Not bad at all."
As the system devoured the Frost Demon bloodline, Turles's base power level skyrocketed. He was now strong enough to crush Frieza even without transforming.
"A power level of 150 million in base? Whoa. That's already at the level Goku reached when he first went Super Saiyan in the original story..."
Zip! Zip! Zip!
Goku and the others flew over. "Whoa, Turles! That form you used was amazing! Can you tell me how to do it? You know, the sparkly gold one!"
Vegeta perked up his ears. This was the legendary Super Saiyan, after all.
"The Super Saiyan? Your fundamentals are strong enough," Turles said, "but you're missing a trigger. You need intense, blinding rage. If something happens later that makes you absolutely lose it, you'll figure it out."
Turles was feeling a bit mischievous. He wanted to see how Goku would manage to transform without having Krillin "sacrificed" this time.
Then, Turles turned to Vegeta. "Your base is still a bit low. You'd better focus on your training."
Vegeta's face darkened. He grit his teeth and glared at Turles. I knew this guy didn't have anything good to say. But I'll show you—I'll become a Super Saiyan before Kakarot!
"So, Turles... is Frieza really dead?" Piccolo asked, exhaling a breath of relief. Turles's Super Saiyan aura had been genuinely frightening.
"Yeah. Not a single atom left."
"Right. All the Dragon Balls are gathered. We can make our wishes now."
"Wishes?"
Vegeta's interest was piqued again. However, he looked at Turles and Kakarot and suppressed his urge to interfere. Not only did he have a new goal to strive for, but he also knew he couldn't beat them. Trying to steal a wish now would be suicide.
This was what they called "understanding the times."
As they gathered around the Dragon Balls, Dende used the Namekian tongue to summon the dragon.
Light radiated from the orbs as seven pillars of energy shot into the sky. The day instantly turned into night, and a massive green figure manifested above them.
Looking at the Namekian dragon, who looked like a buff man—or rather, a muscular dragon—Turles's lip twitched. With those bulging biceps and clear six-pack, this dragon clearly spent its downtime at the gym.
"State your wishes. I can grant any wish within my power. I shall grant you three."
"Three? Not just one?"
"For the first wish... please revive the Namekians killed by the Frieza Force."
Dende relayed the wish in Namekian.
Porunga, the dragon, fell silent for a moment. Listen, kid, nobody gave me an upgrade. I can only revive one person per wish. Don't you know my rules?
"I cannot grant that wish as stated. I can only revive one person at a time."
Turles winced. Right, the pre-upgrade Porunga was a bit of a hassle.
"In that case, revive Chiaotzu from Earth."
As Dende relayed the wish, the dragon's eyes flashed red. "That is simple!"
Far away on King Kai's planet, Chiaotzu was restored to life. Meanwhile, King Kai was also in telepathic contact with Goku.
"As for the remaining wishes, you guys decide," Turles said. "But I think the Namekians should move. Planet Namek's location is exposed now, and those Dragon Balls are too big of a target for other aliens."
Dende went quiet. Turles was right. He looked toward Goku and the others.
Goku smiled and said, "Then let's use a wish to restore Namek's environment. Tien and Yamcha said they want to train with King Kai for a while longer anyway. For the last wish, let's do what Turles said—once we leave, move Planet Namek to a new, secret location. These Dragon Balls are just too tempting for evil people."
Dende gave them a grateful look. Once the wishes were finished, the Dragon Balls turned into stone and dropped to the ground. This was much more convenient than Earth's Dragon Balls; at least they didn't have to go hunting for them again.
Turles, however, was staring at a newly dropped attribute point with a look of pure confusion. Miracle Power? Wait... that can drop too? This system is getting out of hand.
The "Miracle Power" of the Namekian dragon had indeed dropped. Turles could now technically manifest small-scale miracles himself, though the skill clearly had a long cooldown.
Soon, Namekians began appearing all over the area. they looked around in confusion—weren't they dead?
It turned out that the Dragon Balls on Earth had been used simultaneously to revive everyone killed by Frieza and his men, covering the gap in Porunga's current power.
As the Namekians gathered and learned that Turles, Goku, and the others had ended the nightmare, they offered their deepest gratitude.
As the group boarded their spaceship, the rejuvenated Grand Elder looked at them. "Heroes, you shall always be friends of the Namekian people!"
Turles and the others waved goodbye. The spaceship turned into a streak of light and vanished. A moment later, Planet Namek itself vanished from that sector of space.
