When she was submerged under the water, Tempest had intense flashbacks of her time in the ocean.
At one point she thought it might be the end of the nightmare that she had been living the past few days. She thought that it was all coming full circle.
Except this time when she was under the water, something was different.
She wasn't alone.
Dron was there with her.
He was there to hold her hand and to give her peace. It was what she had been searching for all along.
It seemed to take a long time, but before her lungs could really start to protest the lack of oxygen, a light shone above her, and Dron was lugging her to the surface. She coughed and sputtered the water out of her mouth and nose but didn't let go of him.
Finally they were allowed to get out of the weird baptism-like chamber. It was only then that she released Dron. When she looked at his expression, she could see there was a bit of disappointment there.
